Nice pics, I have heard if they get wounded (bullet, arrow, in a fight) some times it can cause their antlers to do that.

congrats on the six point I heard it was pretty tough up there this year.

I had a roofing job out in the woods, so I took the binos and did some glassing from the two story roof(great vantage point). I spotted some elk and a drinker. I had Jake's camera with me so at lunch I buzzed over and set the camera up. The job was only two days so I picked it up today and for 24 hrs. didn't do to bad. 1 good buck.

Don't tell your cousin she thinks I am working long days but I think she has a hunch since the binos are always in the truck on my dash.

Glad to hear you enjoyed the scouting. I was driving though 22 north this morning and they were going crazy, bugling and pushing cows. The rain and cloud cover helped. What tag you got tjhunt2 October or were you real lucky and got December?

I am a roofer who owns Whaley's Roofing out of Payson. The work is hard but the time off and money is alright for my hunting and fishing. I have four daughters (soon to be five) that love the outdoors and a wife that is pretty good about letting me get out in the field and on the water. Coues and bass are my top passions and it is my goal to pass that on to my girls. Thanks Amanda for this site.
