I have heard from friends and other forums that AZGFD is trying to remove the smallmouth from Willow Springs. I have never had to much of a problem with what game and fish have changed or done but if this is true it could possibly be the dumbest thing I have heard. We fish this lake almost exclusive every summer for these fish as do ALOT of others. I emailed/called game and fish to see if this is true without a response yet. Anyone know the truth on this topic and if it is happening is there any way to stop it?

My question for guys that have killed em on water or are in the know what time of day or stretch of day is usually best first 4 hours, last four hours or midday? tia

I had a 6A archery tag once Spent 4 weeks running cameras and checking water. I learned more in 3 hours glassing from a high spot 3 days before season than I did in the 4 weeks of cameras and driving around.

I have killed around 8 bulls all with 100 grain 3 blade fixed usually wac em or wasp boss

I hunt archery a fair amount and can tell you with my set up I have to shoot each broadhead to verify what's going on down range. Like stated above don't think a fixed will ever fly exact as field point over 80 but you can get em close. As season gets close I shoot only broadheads I like wac em and boss by wasp
