I had a whitetail come by this year within 30 seconds of rattling but would never break cover. It just made a half circle around my stand at 60-80 yrds never letting me see if it was a buck or doe. The buck I shot was pushing a doe by my stand after I had rattled 30 minutes prior, so dont know if they were around due to rattling or not. I have rattled and had does run full sprint to my tree.

I have seen them out in a snow storm and rain storm. Dont think 10-15 wind will bother them to much IMO but I am no TJ

I was able to stick to my goal of all coues this year and harvested this buck. He came in chasing a doe and I was not able to pass up the shot and 28 yrds quatering away. He never looked up and only made it about 25 yrds after the shot. I forgot my camera so I had the wife bring the girls out and take some pics.
