Hey Josh, Wish I could find a shed Oh well guess I'll just have to look a little harder Here's a bone you bought this spring

I shot the axe 7 and liked it, but the vendetta seemed alot smoother Also about $200.00 cheaper . The weight of the bow is lighter also and just felt better to me. Axe bows are great and with that said I think with the cam system that is on the Vendetta will be better to keep timed compared to the Axe too?

Well had the PSE Bow Madness and now bought the PSE Vendetta XS and all I got to say is WOW, super quiet, no hand vibe. and fast shooting. I shoot XT 55/75 weighing 385 and shooting @ 395.3 fps. ( 29" draw set @ 67 lbs.). The other thing to note is the draw cycle on this bow is butter smooth If you have a chance try one you'll like The axe 6 and 7 were great bows as well too. MARRY XMAS TO ALL AND HAVE SAVE NEW YEARS TOO

quote name='azhuntnut' post='180777' date='Dec 16 2009, 03:49 PM']Were you shotting the bow madness XS? I am thinking about picking one up next week for myself. Did you like it, or did it suck? David David, No had the MC 32 and loved it just had a chance to buy this Vendetta at a great price. With that being said the 32" Bow Madness is going to be faster than the xs will be other than that not much differents. If it was me I'd buy the MC 32 here's a picture of the vendetta xs not the best of pitures.

I'm likin it so much can't think you're right 295.3 fps

How many bought the year pass and now have to pay to use the range? My guess is that they can't make budget and need more money for the new building and that they would add more fees to the archery poeple! I talked to Jennifer Johston and was told they were the cheapest in the country and that was the reason for raising the fees. So the $75.00 we paid was for entering the park only? My pass says ACHERY ON IT AND NOT ANYTHING ABOUT CAR PASS OR ENTERING PASS ONLY!So now it will cost $115.00 per year to shoot there. Funny thing is all the targets are donated by other archery groups and buisness so what is it that they do? To bad they have a lot of poeple that don't know what they are doing and the worse part is they are the ones running it. I've put a dispute on my credit card against them we'll see what happens? The break down is: Park Pass--- $75.00 Archery----- $40.00 This took effect Dec. 7, 2009 They have been trying to shut down the archery range for along time so they can put in more camp grounds, so looks like they are doing a good job running the archery guys off.

I've been considering hunting in New Meixco what unit would be a good one to start with? I've hunted 29 and 30a here in Az. so was thinking something close to those units that boarder the state line, but I'm open to all comments? What's your take on this idea?

Az, The 243 wssm is a great pick, with that being said my hunting partner has his daughter shooting one and she shoots it very well One thing that he has done with the rifle was had a removable muzzle brake put on it, so when she gets older she can take it off. This rifle is very accurate and at the yardage that you are talking it can be done with this rifle at eaze. Last year she had a cow elk tag for unit 10 and took her cow at 320 yards ( for all that will say this is to far for a young person, good for you and stick with your thoughts, but with practice and I mean alot of practice they can learn to shoot just like the seasoned hunter. If there was a age limit on distance shooting guess alot of us would have quit along time ago) Good luck in you quest of buying your daughter a rifle and stick with your thoughts on this regardless of which rifle you decide on?

Looks like a blast. Good luck and safe hunting

This is my the 3x3 taken down south hunting with Cramerhunts. What do you think Steps taken to make european mount: 1. Shoot coues buck (he he)! 2. Use a pale or bucket that the head will fit in. 3. I take tin foil to wrap around the burrs of the antlers so to keep down discoloring of the antlers. 4. Fill your bucket or pale to with in 3" of the top of the bucket. If you are using a bleach or a kit this would be the time that you add it too. If in a kit they will give you instructions how to use it. I didn't use a store bought kit. 5. Bring to boil and watch the head close because you will need to add water so it stays up above the head. 6. At this point more than likely you will loose the bones that attach to the front of the nose (or I did on both deer that I have done). 7. Once you are happy with the boiling of the head carefully remove the jaw and start cleaning it till you have all the meat and jaw removed, I than replace all the water and start the boiling all over again. If you have loose bones to reattach to the nose area don't worry to much because you will clean them bones and just glue them in place 8.Here is where I leave the road of usual standard of european mounting and use POOL ACID for bleaching and cleaning (soak the head up to the tin foil for about 30 minutes than naturalize the head with water and soda powder than clean again in warm water. Let dry and than I hand sand the ruff spots with 220 grit and 600 grit for the last sanding. 9. If you don't want to use acids or bleach, you can spray white spray paint to whiten you scull. 10. Find what wood you want to use (I used rough tonge and groove and cut out a design to my liking) 11. Once you have your board cut and stained to your liking position the head on the board, then drill a hole where the neck and head bone connect (heaver in that knuckle) 1/8" hole in the wood and in the scull, you than can use a deck screw 1-1/4" long will work great (do not over tighten the screw)[/b 12. You are ready for placing it on the wall Hope this helps and for the ones that thinks this doesn't sound right well it works for me
