--- we need to have a watch full eye and are thankful the azsfw is gone forever - just have to make sure the little sister azsfwc doesnt have the same ambitions as the big brother had!! +100000 Its also very important that issues concerning hunters interest and the interests of Americans in reguards to Constitutional rights are watched and monitored - great job Archerycrazy and hope more people take an interest in what some groups might try to sneek thru !! we do know some politions can easily sponsor ill gotton bills!! thank you for your vigilance - KEEP IT UP BPJ i see you are stirring the pot " Sad to see you trying to stir a non existent pot. You should know as well as anyone that the AZSFW was disbanded and that all the money players have said goodbye to political ventures in AZ" seeing how most of the same people are still on the board of azsfwc we need to make sure they know we are watching and havent forgot - pretty sure they stated they had nothing to do with legislative issues-- is that what they still claim!!! watching and having concerns of legsilative bills that can affect hunters is a GOOD thing, along with many other items !!

  8. +1 i'm at a loss here - what makes you think the ballots are not sercret - the ballot isn't signed the envolope that holds the ballot is signed and the only reason is to know who actually voted - ! thats how our union holds vote - several volunters to watch the voting and counting. screw the obummer prick he wants to be emperor- he wants to know what everyone is doing - its not the unions fault- though i cant see why they supported the bum I've been a union member for 32 yrs - never seen a thug- yes our union endorsed obummer but I'm an American and vote the way i wanted - same goes for any vote we've ever had at our union . I did have a union person come around for the bummer vote - passed a flyer so I'd know who was running in the party and to see if i voted . I also had a democrat come around to see if i voted the party - i told him to pound sand - non his dang business union has been good to me all ny life - i dont live by any extravagatnt frills - no real high dollar pay - I know lots of non union guys that have better benifts aqnd pay that i do - i know that when i go to work i give a full days work for pay just like all of you . i cant get employed if i fail a drug test - how many non union companys have mandatory drug tests for employment ?/ i sure some do! every union compoany i go to work for does and do random tests all the time to keep a drug free safe working enviromnet. companies hire unions for their expeirince - how many companies you see offer pay by your skill - every dang one . the better your resume the better job you get the more pay the union is my resume - they call and ask for a specific person to do a specific job - thats what they get a trained indiviual sure theres a possability of thugs and dopers and alcohoics - in every business accross america , the majority of unions strive to be drug free- who says union workers can't get fired - i dont be little or talk down to someone doing the same job as myself- non union- heck if he works as hard as i do hes got just as much experience as myseLF-- operating engineers 428 - 32 yrs and proud of IT!
  9. heres aprt of it! The following is a list, provided by the White House, of executive actions President Obama plans to take to address gun violence. 1. Issue a Presidential Memorandum to require federal agencies to make relevant data available to the federal background check system. 2. Address unnecessary legal barriers, particularly relating to the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act, that may prevent states from making information available to the background check system. 3. Improve incentives for states to share information with the background check system. 4. Direct the Attorney General to review categories of individuals prohibited from having a gun to make sure dangerous people are not slipping through the cracks. 5. Propose rulemaking to give law enforcement the ability to run a full background check on an individual before returning a seized gun. 6. Publish a letter from ATF to federally licensed gun dealers providing guidance on how to run background checks for private sellers. 7. Launch a national safe and responsible gun ownership campaign. 8. Review safety standards for gun locks and gun safes (Consumer Product Safety Commission). 9. Issue a Presidential Memorandum to require federal law enforcement to trace guns recovered in criminal investigations. 10. Release a DOJ report analyzing information on lost and stolen guns and make it widely available to law enforcement. 11. Nominate an ATF director. 12. Provide law enforcement, first responders, and school officials with proper training for active shooter situations. 13. Maximize enforcement efforts to prevent gun violence and prosecute gun crime. 14. Issue a Presidential Memorandum directing the Centers for Disease Control to research the causes and prevention of gun violence. 15. Direct the Attorney General to issue a report on the availability and most effective use of new gun safety technologies and challenge the private sector to develop innovative technologies. 16. Clarify that the Affordable Care Act does not prohibit doctors asking their patients about guns in their homes. 17. Release a letter to health care providers clarifying that no federal law prohibits them from reporting threats of violence to law enforcement authorities. 18. Provide incentives for schools to hire school resource officers. 19. Develop model emergency response plans for schools, houses of worship and institutions of higher education. 20. Release a letter to state health officials clarifying the scope of mental health services that Medicaid plans must cover. 21. Finalize regulations clarifying essential health benefits and parity requirements within ACA exchanges. 22. Commit to finalizing mental health parity regulations. 23. Launch a national dialogue led by Secretaries Sebelius and Duncan on mental health. but we wont really know what will come out of this morons mouth or i mean what he will read

    2nd Amendment rally

never really liked a rally!! what happens when ya get all the publicity and no one shows! I believe in our Constituion and our rights as Americans but it may do more harm than good !- what # makes a successful rally - i mean really - you'd expe\ct 100's of thousands to come and stand for what they believe , if you expect to make an impression - say only 5-10 thousand show - is that enough to impress anyone - if ya get less - do we look weak and people think no one really cares - what if less than 1000 show -

Final wording for the Bait Ban

    guess agin! http://www.azgfd.gov/h_f/biggame_species.shtml

Final wording for the Bait Ban

Thanks Amanda - we should mention these agin - they were additions to unlawful methods of taking wildlife also A-3.Any lure, attractant, or cover scent containing any cervid urine. C,-Place any substance, device, or object in, on, or by any water source to prevent wildlife from using that water source.
  14. the main problem I see is the wording and why they had to add these 2 items into law - A-3.Any lure, attractant, or cover scent containing any cervid urine. C,-Place any substance, device, or object in, on, or by any water source to prevent wildlife from using that water source no urine is simple to understand- though its BS "C" is way to open for interpitation than i like - it could mean anything and anywhere near water - BUT - not much is really gonna" prevent" animals from watering I really believe this was aimed at all the postings online the last couple of yrs. It's sad when they"the commission " let a few influence their decissions . Yes it was a done deal the moment it was put on paper! I agree 100% with " SHAME ON YOU COMMISSIONERS" especially your actions and temperment during the discussion!
  15. HERE ARE THE 3 MAIN ISSUES THAT ARE RELATED TO HUNTING ELK- DEER- ANTELOPE ETC. if i read correctly this is the way the new law will read !!as taken of website revised R12-4-303 unlawfull methods, devices -- changes or addition --- A-3.Any lure, attractant, or cover scent containing any cervid urine. C,-Place any substance, device, or object in, on, or by any water source to prevent wildlife from using that water source. D-The use of edible or ingestible substances to aid in taking big game is unlawful when: 1. An individual places edible or ingestible substances for the purpose of attracting or taking big game. 2. An individual knowingly takes big game with the aid of edible or ingestible substances placed for the purpose of attracting wildlife to a specific location. 3. This subsection does not limit Department employees or Department agents in the performance of their official duties. 4. For the purposes of this subsection, edible or ingestible substances does not include: a. Water, b. Salt or salt-based materials produced and manufactured for the livestock industry, or c. Nutritional supplements produced and manufactured for the livestock industry and placed during the course of livestock or agricultural operations. DO NOT KNOW WHY THEY SLIPPED THIS ONE IN - NO URINE LURE PERIOD Cervid | noun, Zoology . any member of the deer family, Cervidae, comprising deer, caribou, elk, and moose, they do make articfical urine products!!- just no real doe in heat from live animal --
  16. hope this helps a little heres part of the discription;; For the purposes of this rulemaking, the Commission considers bait to include any food-stuff or ingestible material that has been deposited, scattered, piled, or delivered by a passive or active feeder or feed delivery system so as to constitute an attractant, lure or enticement to wildlife and to influence the movement of these animals for the purpose of harvest by hunters. “Bait” does not include:■Water ■Salt or salt-based materials produced and manufactured for the livestock industry ■Nutritional supplements produced and manufactured for the livestock industry and placed during the course of livestock or agricultural operations ■Decoys ■Scent lures provided they do not contain cervid urine ■Chemical attractants provided they are not ingestible ■Food plots planted within accepted local or regional agricultural guidelines __________________
