Last yr my wife drew a unit 10 muzzy bull tag for Nov 6th. Due to a real bad case of asthmatic bronchitis and some very cold wet weather we were unable to hunt. Just recently we finally went up north agin to property heres part of what trail cams showed Bummed her out all over agin as there might have been a chance for tagging a bull elk on our own land! two bulls different bulls a 100 yrds from trailer 6 days before hunt our saddle loaded with elk day before hunt She still has a dang hack from that bronchitis

A close friend was lucky enough to draw one of 25 Champ elk tags for 6a Now this person has had numerous operations on his back and is pretty much immobile for the most part. A couple friends have offed to help with the hunt -so hopefully all he really needs to do is pull the trigger . I'm hoping to find a rifle rest to make this hunt easier - I know he doesn't want to be a burden and wouldn't ask but from personal knowledge - he is deserving of this tag and any help offered He's waited 8 yrs for this chance and was elated beyond belief ,that he actually drew a tag. Like something finally good in his life since all the other problems associated with back injuries yeah I know a blanket - a pillow - a rolled up shirt etc - many of simple alternatives we haven't figured all the ways to shoot from a vechile but there is no way he can safely/quickly exit and take a shot. I think a good solid rest is whats needed - maybe something that has worked for other people under similar conditions thanks pm best contact

WTB- borrow window gun rest for Champ Hunter

one needs to be able to move the rifle freely - maybe even the whole width / length of the window I doubt a clamp on type would make it easy to move the rifle if needed- not a lot of room to adjust your body to get centered behind a clamp in the front seat of a truck I see they make a sand bag type rest - any - all recommendations are helpful Thanks -
I came across this-- so it may interest some hunters who drew a 10 tag huntingbigboranch.com

that's 3 emails this week pushing the get your results now - just apply for portal account! too funny they are emailing my portal email address
-
most whom first heard of the portal were not against the interaction but then the proposal involved $$$ so if you paid you got an advantage that didn't go well will the majority of hunters ] but I guess you can still join $$$ and get a better habi map interaction thru the portal - who's to say what else in involved in their future plans of $$$ I heard today you can call for the results and online figured to start at 8 am
-
hopefully they will add 10 phone lines for tomorrow or it'll be a wait their too! pretty sure last day portal came out 1 day ahead of online or call in
-
yes but join the portal and get the results quicker than those whom have decided not to join least ways, that's what the email wanted you to believe -- it states -- portal account holders will be the first to know before the results are released

Little help with safety question at a city of phx business
elkaholic replied to hoghntr's topic in The Campfire
BETTER CALL SAL - I hope you took pictures and documented what you could contact any lawyer or hopefully someone here can give you the help needed. total bummer -
I don't think google let you down - I doubt you'll find and that will be made to fire in your rifle - now midway has 400 + grain 50 cal bullets made for powderless and state can be used in muzzleloaders but 20 in barrel- most likely with modern twist good luck why wouldn't the 385's be enough ?
-
I knew a guy who would fill the hollow points with lead to get a heavier bullet
-
thought I saw safes at sams of Costco for around 500 - you could get 3 !
-
ok so antelope wouldn't change much - kinda figured with limited tags - since your doing the math how about the elk draw applications !? yes it would limit the samo 's always drawing tags every yr. after the wait they enter with the bogus points - a so called big advantage over first timers- if you believe that !
-
the # 1 - way to solve the problem is a 2-3 yr waiting period to apply if you are successfully drawn As easy as still being able to put in for a bonus point each yr. during your waiting period - + being able to apply for leftovers G&F will still sell every tag every yr and by the 3rd yr - guys will be applying with 5 bpts if you count hunted ed and Loyalty It would rotate the people getting tags -so by the 3rd yr your chances are even better as the odds would be greatly in your favor with the reduced number of available applicants. no more waiting 6- 8 10 yrs on most big game animals much better odds on antelope tags , Too easy of a solution

For anyone whom needs tile work or knows anyone who wants some tile work done , look no further Give CWT member 452b264 - a PM - he's local here in N/Phx. Martin is just finishing up a job for me. He has the experience and know how to get the job done right the first time . the floor needed leveling and grinding and some patch work . He accomplished everything needed to prep the area for tile. He does a great job in making sure the tile is laid flat and evenly spaced. I have no problems recommending him here and to friends and he'll be the first guy to get a call when I get my other 2 rooms ready for tile , in the near future. I'll post a before and after picture , when he finishes the grouting . My wife is elated with the way it looks It 's cool that he enjoys all kinds of hunting and fishing as well - I'm hoping in the future that Martin and I can get out for a little varmint hunting Do not hesitate to contact him - He is licensed and bonded- The job was very professionally done- from communications - to being on time and even the daily clean-ups Gary Hanson

the first is only before I have- Martin did a great job!

I bought the release and the broadheads - I did shot this bow - what a great set-up for someone . this bow shoots great and is real smooth and very quiet, had my funds not been depleted from all the remodeling lately - It would have stayed here If it is still around later - I may have to try and work a deal- but if your looking for a great bow - this could be yours. thanks for everything Martin - Gary
