    Fair Chase in Arizona ...

It's probably just me but - think this will only increase the # of cameras in the field - Now they will be putting them 360 * on every trail leading to the catchments / tanks . putting them up in spots / seeps in the desert that only hold water for a limited time anyway - no harm no foul - they are not generally easy to access anyway these spots aren't really checked very frequently - I've got to agree with the "proving intent"- lots of people just like to get pictures there are problem areas to be addressed but generalizing everyone putting up a camera and then saying its aiding in the harvesting of an animal is BS. this hurts everyone

    Fair Chase in Arizona ...

its gonna be a new law ! so lets make sure that words like passive camera and point water source have a defined definition in the regulations so there is no misunderstanding exactly what they mean -- including the officers in the field !

    Fair Chase in Arizona ...

the way they worded it - how many definitions to "passive"- and how will it be defined by different wardens and what are they really trying to say ? this is a done deal - get use to it just like any past decisions - one can voice all the comments before hand during the due process - to no purpose

    Fair Chase in Arizona ...

a lot of G&F information about wildlife comes from trail cameras - which they bait an option to a ban is limiting the # of cameras a guide / person can use in the field - all cameras must show currant information as to owner etc . no more than 1 camera per hunter at any given tank or same location on a side note - it does SUCK when you are hunting / sitting water and a guy comes in at prime time to check his camera

    Stolen gun recovered

I had a jime .380 stolen from my vechile - was recovered and returned but has never shot the same - they most likely used highvelocity hollow points - barrel is basically shot out . they are just cheap guns but nothin I can do - not anxious to really test it out

No, really - when are they dropping?

got to remember we had a bit of snow - so most likely elk were on the move towards winter ranges this yr . winter range areas are available on elk data info at G&F also remember they will like /use the sunny edges of canyons/ ravines / mtns off the rim areas for travel as well as bedding if you can best guess where winter beds are - that'll be the most productive antler drop areas along with winter travel routes

It's great to see the low desert tanks all full - this is normally called dry tank as it never has water - maybe once every 10 yrs you may find a little water or see where it had enough moisture to grow some weeds plumb full this yr. with more on the way Going to be a great yr. to draw a tag . or just go hunting

    Game & Fish Department Question

Purchasing an online license OK - Son finally moved back to Az 1 yr. Ago- long story short version Why is the NON-Resident the default on the online box under residency while getting son's department id # I missed changing it to resident I filled out elk - antelope - with claiming 1 yr non military resident when I printed out license it - states on the right License/stamp # - class under that it shows -- HA 878888 Res Hunt but on the left side resident shows - NO dept# id (null) I'm hoping it's as easy as change it to the proper- resident and reissue same license # on the applications - the charged me resident fees using the license # printed on license why is the default non- resident instead of resident -!????? I'M sure this a mistake that is fairly frequent when applying online I hope I'm not the only Putz around whom happened to miss it ! I need to make the trip on Monday to see what can be done ! so the printed license shows both resident and non resident !!??
