patterning the travel routes is a big deal - checking fence lines to see which way they are coming and going off the Depot and the limited area best spots can be along the rodgers lake fence line and the garland praire fence line- that being said s/w corner seems to get the most action for the buffer zone

Not worth the hassle --- Go find a bigger bull I know that's easy for me to say but better than a non recovery bull and wasting 3-4 days tracking and passing on other bulls cuz you know you got one down. No doubt the other arrow flinger is not a hunter and never will be- most likely the arrow in antler was because he missed a bull lying 10 yrds away heres the dilemma - get right on the bull you've just shot knowing its a kill shot - or waiting the 30-40 minutes so you don't bump'm and compound the recovery . in the mean time this kinda stuff still happens I bet more regular than any of us like. I know numerous hunters whom found a gut pile when tracking an animal they shot!!

state park employees along with park volunteers will harvest the bison -- no time schedule -- all meat to be donated to food banks- indian tribes and the volunteers who help no information if these people are qualified to hunt / field dress and transport the animals - who's paying for all that they turned down the G&F idea of allowing hunters to hunt inside park boundaries!

a lot of guides / outfiiters have been brought up on charges over the yrs. here in AZ - fines- revoked licenses means nothing to these people- chasing antelope- helicopter - he's back in business shooting elk illegal next to homes -- he's still in business I'm sure there are dozens more - Loren will not learn a lesson regardless of what charges / fines / etc. most will just do business behind the lines of legalities. catch me if u can -- most just change name of business - try to hide but never quit thumbing their nose at ethical hunting practices because they are the innocent

I wish them success but one thing to consider is accurate information on the huntable area and quality of animals etc. from my quick parcel search to above posting --the area within the fenced acreage has .70 of the little Colorado river on their parcel approx. huntable zones are limited to a couple ravens and the river . now the land to the west belongs to the state of Arizona and the land to the south is usda forest if u included the river in those 2 areas then approx. 2.1 miles Now I do agree with the opportunity to get a first timer or youth involved with hunting within our state at ? rates- this can be a good experience not super hard to hunt and hopefully good opportunity - if they are not harvesting on a hunt - well you know Good Luck guys

-
you could spend 15 dollars a bag for 22" x 33" orvis or find 4'x6' heavy duty bags 3 for 20 and with a little sewing make 12 bags 12 x 15 is how much ?

time to learn ---- you go out and scout if you don't have the time to scout - you go out and hunt drive the roads and learn where to hunt -- you pound the deserts you learn where not to hunt -
