I've had similar situation in reverse. I went rifle deer in central Wisc. past several yrs. you get one buck tag and several does tags. we went 3 yrs without even shooting a doe! hang in there- lots of close calls means your doing most things right . just need that one time for it to be -"TAGIING TIME" I have managed small bucks the last 2 yrs in wisc. but both were the dreaded crossbow season. I passed on the rifle season - unless you like - 0 degrees hunts to single digit the end oct. first Nov. in wisc. is great - though we did get an early snow- lol so never knowing what the weather will do - is nation wide.

Just because you have shot numerous times with this new sight - at a known yardage doesn't mean your proficient. Is it gonna know if the arrow is actually hitting the spot where it's aimed ? sure getting confident with your archery skills is going to help when that time comes for a shot - but paper targets don't move -standing at a range isn't even close to hunting in the field.

It's a beast of a sight from the looks of it ! guess if you can afford a $1200 dollar bow you can add a $1000 sight.! I do not know how you can say fewer wounded animals - I suspect more than less. Archery Skills and Ethical shots make for fewer wounded animals not a sight ! Too many variations on the actual situation involved in taking a shot to say this thing will make a difference ! putting a pin on an animal 80-100+ yrds away doesn't mean a kill shot!

We haven't been able to figure out where they all went this yr either. We know of several herds in area - still plenty water - no rootin - basically no tracks - even after the rain Never takes this long to find piggy's

Just like anything else - we and they can react to things differently . one doe may come running in -- another running away I did my own test this fall in Wisc. We were seeing lots of does but no bucks . most does were in the 90-100 yrds range , as any closer woulda blown my tree stand location. one young doe pranced around and got closer. the rest (10 or so) just raise and turned their heads to look in my direction and wagged their tails and basically IGNORED it

one can only hope it sees many more days shooting ducks even if its by someone else I'd revisit and go and hope to find a guy using it in same spot - hope you had the serial #'s some people would still hunt the same spot- it's a possibility! total Bummer !

did the print extras last yr. - thought of that while I stood in line at Sportsman Saturday to get one - could barely ready the scribbled copy anyway! , plus I needed 2018 lion - archery deer I liked my idea of taking a picture of it on my phone. Seems like nobody goes anywhere without their phone either in pocket or truck !
