hello - I never met Rob but I do know the family - this is a tragic and senseless killing - he will be missed by many. this could have been prevented had our nations "leaders" woke up- Hopefully this will mark the beginning of "ACTION " on our border ! we can no longer let this kind of atrocities against americans go unanswered ! Gary -

elkaholic replied to bowhuntaz1's topic in Political Discussions related to hunting
hello - just for clarification - if you quit/resign or are fired from a job- no unemployment - depending on situations /circumstances reveiwed - This guys reputatuion is bombed beyond repair - Trully sad when you push past proper conduct/procedures to acquire "fame" attention and it ends up costing you everything - - never a good thing for all parties involved - Gary -

hello - stolen stuff - always sucks - but the misplaces - don't know where it might be, is almost as bad - I had a great little flashlight - -you can change the lenses -green -red anyway - haven't seen it for a long time - even though i looked everywhere - thought it may have been stolen out of truck - as i 've had a few minor stuff taken from my truck - if left unlocked - at night in my carport - Yesterday was going to go thru my turkey bag and get calls out etc. guess what i found - my flashlight --- hopefully the trail cams might show up - It is kinda weird how they target certain items and leave other valuables - go figure - Gary -

Nice Coues Racks on eBay
elkaholic replied to huntscout's topic in Miscellaneous Items related to Coues Deer
hello - i guess our G&F would be in big trouble - they had tables full of racks-antlers- sheep skulls - full mounts- bear skins/rugs for sale for 3 days at the ISE show - they had some really great deals - 4x4 muley - 160 class $40 - some real nice 100 coues were around $100 -0 lots of elk antlers were sold also - some people got some awesume items at the show for very reasonable prices - they had a trailer full of stuff and they were haulin it out all 3 days ! Gary -
hello - i got 2 suggestions - gunbroker.com and ebay- but would be nice to know if its a remington - a savage etc. and the model # - like my 742 remington - just type in appropriate info - u should find some thing - if you want synthetic stocks - try ramline products - just to say 300 mag - is shy of info! Gary
-

hello - I guess this is for all the guys/gals who visited the ISE this past weekend - I came accross a super cool idea - IN my opinion - I'm a pretty hard sell when it comes to new stuff but i got to admitt i didn't hesitate to whip out some cash and buy. How many of you seen the new Bow Holder called Hipbone It can bee seen at www.TacticalArcherySystems.com along with their new dot site. Super easy way to carry your bow in the field ! check it out - I already mounted mine on my bow Gary

The Fog Finally Broke at the Canyon
elkaholic replied to Red Rabbit's topic in Non-hunting trip reports
hello - awesume photo's as usaual - new folder - canyon colors - by redrabbit - great stuff - gary -
hello - Thanks Amanda - I've carried my bow for a lot of years with the U shaped belt holder. After reading your post about the noise - i got out my foam type mole skin and lined the ball holder - It really made it a lot quieter - Just some things we need a little reminder to think of making things a little better - ps. kinda like using my cell phone yesterday - lol - thanks agin - Gary
-
hello - they haven't even cashed all the checks yet - waiting on wifes to clear - i filled it out at headquarters the last day - so i know it got there on time - no sympathy for early whinnin- lol - Gary
-
hello - from now on i stop with the negative comments about g&f - for a while anyway-lol - I actually got a call about my application - guess some one had screwed up and the hunts I applied for had the wrong application assigned #'s - I was givin the chance to correct the problem before they continued - At which time I could have changed all my preferrred choices. Had they not caught the problem, I'd have been totally screwed and most likely - if drawn - would not have been a hunt of my choice - Mark one up for G&F for helping me and a group of others who ended up with the same problem - guess it s all ok now - i see they cashed my checks - Gary
-
hello - don't own a pop-up blind but have built lots of ground blinds - brushing in is the #1 priority i my book - the more the better - I've built blinds at 1-3 in the after noon and had deer-elk-turkey walk right in front that evening- kinda like the mesh deal - always brush off the backside also - believe me if an ole hen walks by the front and stops cluckin and givin you the eye and she walks off - you passed the blind building test ! - gary

hello- thanks for posting--some great lookin bucks! --gary

hello - just some added info - not to sound negative - but with a starting bid of 350 - that is a reserve price- which is a steal for this quality of binoculars - sure you'll get some bidding! - not meant to take anything away for these great bino's - Gary
