As far as the azsfw still being around , were working on that one - they've already lost over 50% of their major organizations . All Arizona knows they will never speak for the majority of sportsmen and women agin !

When is the ADA gonna get off their "aces" and come forward with information about the platnium membership with the azsfw . The sportsmen and women of Arizona deserve an Answer - whats it gonna take for this to happen!? we've been told twice the 2072 push is dead - we'vew been told that if it happened a second time the ADA would remove itself from affiliation. WHat is the message they are sending by dragging this out - with no comment from anyone !

when is the board of the ADA gonna let the sportsmen and women of Arizona know exactly what they stand for now and in the future. whats hb1270 anyway - kinda like any business - you can get pats on the back from past accomplishments and remember when you did this but when you screw up you get your butt chewed out and a warning - you screw up the second time - no questions no B.S. you get a check and your walking papers . azsfw is at he last stage - they had a chance to drop it but they werent satisfied and pushed agin. they need to go - no way anyone is gonna trust them. All those responsable for the second push belonging to organizations who were against 2072 need to step down or be removed from boards . guess ya can't fire them and a butt chewing will do nothing . People will be less likely to join an organization if they feel the leaders do not have their views and interests , especially- TRUST.

AZSFW having so much percieved power and influence? look at what just happened with 2072 - azsfw was willing to go lie and decieve- betray all organizations they were said to represent - to further their own good . they are 100% opposed to the g&F they have stated publicallly they are incompentent a few chosen people and the right law - bingo - on more step in aligning the pieces . they know what money can buy - 3 paid lobbyists to fight against all the sportsmen and women in Arizona . key board membders on all the organizations to help with the fight! THey were willing to prove they had the power and the influence but it was stopped by joe hunter - now joe hunter needs to finish the game! we need to put a tag on azsfw! and anywhere they show thier influence and precieved power . this board by its current members shows its a threat -its got azsfw members with the right people anything can be a good thing - with the wrong people its dooms day!

Aren't these all individuals capable of their own thoughts and decisions, or do we really believe that AZSFW has the power to sway these individual's opinions or the voted on opinions of their respective organizations, if they are even taking a vote on a prospective Commissioner? Losing on a vote is a part of a democracy. We can never guarantee a win. Keep in mind that the Governor gets to decide who sits on this Board, not AZSFW she only gets to pick from the names the board gives here - no less than 2 when members of the board is controlled by azsfw members - guess what ? the same with a few organizations we know of! sue s term is done - since when is 2 the majority of 5 ? stinson is a azsfw member - so is gilstrap - most likely johnson best interests are great but if you are out voted - ??!!! President Burns refused to bring the bill to the floor so we are currently working with Governor Brewer’s office to draft an Executive Order to define process including dates, etc.\ -------- this was G&F responce: The Arizona Game and Fish Commission today urgently asks the public in joining them in opposition to Senate Bill 1200, proposed legislation creating a new appointment recommendation board that would evaluate and control which candidates for commission vacancies the governor could select. SB 1200 is scheduled to be debated tomorrow and voted on this week in the state senate. The commission asks people to immediately contact their state senator in opposition to SB 1200 and let them know that House Bill 2619 is a much better solution to an open and fair commission appointment process. I call the bill "The Jennifer Martin Bill". HB 2235 would have made individuals such as Jennifer ineligible and would have made people like Robbie Woodhouse ineligle as well. About 5 days before the bill was scheduled to be heard, the lobbyist for AZSFW came to a Yuma Valley Rod and Gun Club Board meeting and requested our endorsemant. The YVRGC Board of Disrectors voted unanimously to oppose the bill. Representative Weiers pulled the bill the night before the scheduled hearing. Representaive Weiers and AZSFW went back to the drawing board. SB 1200 appeared on our door step days before the first hearing. Unfortunately we supported the revised edition. A bit of a amistake on our part. Prior to SB 1200 and the Commission Appointment Recommendating Board, prospective Commisioner were encouraged to contact most organitation and present their resumes and seek endorsement. Woodhouse and Freeman and all who preceeded them went through this process. In my opinion AZSFW has effectively silenced the voice of the average sportsman. ----- This removes the 'people' from another government process, not allowing us even the pretense of a voice to the Governor on who's appointed. Our only recourse in the past was our vote for governor to shape the G&F commission, that was restrictive already... example Nappy's appointees and then Brewer... we now have no say as the choice is dependent on special interest nonprofit orgs... socialism, no matter how you dress it. ----- heres what it used to be and what we still need - not a select group saying who we need torepresent us Dear Game and Fish Commission Applicant, Thank you for submitting your application in consideration of appointment to the Commission.
