Amanda and Paul it was a pleasure to meet both of you last night. Thank you for all that you guys do to keep everyone informed of the events. Last night was the best banquet we have attended ever. Not only was the food great, but the idea Eddy and Chris came up with for OE4A is absolutely, hands down, the best organization to donate to and support. I couldn't help but get choked up at the stories that were being told. Eddy, you and Chris should be an inspiration to us all, I can't speak for everyone, but I will help out with what ever I can do, when you make the call. Thank you for starting such a great organization.

I was with Tom when he shot his buck. Tom and his family have had one heck of a 4 months of hunting 2 bucks over 115, Toms 113, Blake (toms youngest boy) 95, Coles 105. This is one of the greatest families I have ever come to know, and proud to call all of the Roses' and Van Winkles my freinds/extended family. If you know Toms website go to it he has all the pics of there deer on their now.

Jake, Its obvious you don't know the difference between a mulie and a whitetail. I think you should heed your own advice and spend more time in the woods . I mean you have only guided and been on more hunts than most on the site And with that said, if you need someone to show you I will take you out hunting. The recommendation that you look at some trail cam pics is highly seconded by me.

archerycrazy, Well thought out statement. And I hear and understand your stance on the landowners tags, But, as you said "The wildlife of this state belong to all of the citizens of this state." would this not be more so if the private landowners that are not allowing acess now, had something to gain from it for allowing other hunters to access the land that is currently closed and unable to be trespassed upon? Again I was not intending to make this a HUGE debate, I was just thinking out loud when I read that statement.

I would like to start off by saying I do not post a whole lot on the site, but I look at it everyday. One comment that stood out to me was "allow landowners to lobby for private tags". IMO landowners should be able to get a tag or whatever is deemed reasonable within the count from the biologists in that area. I know I have asked permission to several private access points with a "NO" answer, And when asked for my own curiosity, why? They said in the past hunters did not respect their land, left trash, dummped sewage on the road, did not put fires out all the way. I think they are entitled to private landowners tags. They take care of it and all that is their, they provide water and food, granted not specifically for the wildlife, but nonetheless it is provided. If Game and Fish ask for easment then all major landowners should be entitled to a private landowner tag. Just my opinion. As for 109 Many people did not understand it. I heard in the polling area that I voted in many people did not know or even hear of it prior to them getting their. It was for the lack of understanding that many did not know how to vote on it, not that they do not wnat to. This is not a personal jab at you Ringer what so ever, your comment just got me to thinking a little bit about the ranchers in Arizona that own a substantial amount of land that could contribute to opening areas that re typically off limits if Game and Fish would give thme guaranteed tags for access.

Had a cow elk hunt with a buddy of mine. He shot her at 96 yds and had great penetration, she ran 50 yds and piled up. Flew as straight as straight can get. I would recommend them to anyone that asked.

Cole has done a couple skulls for me and they turned out great. I told him how I wanted them to look and he did just that. I can recommend Cole with complete confidence that he will take care of each and every person in the same manner. Cole glad to see you on here.

Imagine lying in your bed cozy and warm listening to the sounds of the bugling elk, or hanging out in camp getting ready to set off in search of that elusive 115" grey ghost, in your new 2006 , Weekend Warrior Toyhauler, 28ft 5th wheel. fully self contained. Everything works, no issues here. Been in a couple elk camps, couple deer camps, and some camping trips. And is the best of all worlds. Fits a Rhino without having to lower the tire pressure. Onan generator keeps the A/C running, while heating up supper in the microwave/convenction oven. Large frigerator keeps all the beer, I mean things you wanna keep cold , Cold. freezer works great. Power washer to rinse off the sand after a day in the dunes or on a muddy forest road. When mama wont let the you or the kids inside cause your to dirty, rinse off with outside shower. After a day of riding , hunting, or kicking back at camp. Relax inside and watch videos of the day on the tv with dvd player. It is big enough to relax in without feeling cramped, small enough to go places the bigger 5th wheels cant. As super lite any 3/4 ton can pull it, maybe even a half ton with air bags. It is time for it to go. times are tough and mama says sell it. so shoot me an offer. only trade we will consider is cash. the price is 18,800 OBO. Call Denny 520-403-5151. I can send pics on request. This trailer is clean, clean, clean. If someone from CWT.com buys Their is a huge CWT.com sticker that Amanda sent me for it that will gon along with it. (now if that is not a selling point I dont know what is.)

No Beacon, but really need to get rid of it so 6000.00 as seen in the picture, or 9000 with the dually. -

I have only been hunting for about 8 years now (I'm the ripe old age of 31). And if it weren't for friends like Jake (Tines), Cole Van Winkle, Brian Robinson, Tom Rose, and Cody Glover, I would not have even got into hunting. These guys kinda took me under their wing, because they new that I really wanted to do it, and now love it. I have not killed any deer of any substantial size, but I get out and go every chance I get. Apatkelly ( AAron) and AZpackhorse (Brian) helped with some info last year on my late December hunt in 34b, when others on the forum were not so nice with me asking a question about access or maps that I could locate. I have seen the biggest bucks in 34b (probably due to the lack of access, lots of private land). I have also hunted all the 36's and 33. So I would like to thank Cody for taking me on my very first hunt at 23 years old. Thanks to Brian R. for my very first turkey hunt, thanks to Jake for being with me on my very first harvest. Thanks to Tom and Cole for teaching me all they can, the input from good friends is worth more than the harvest. 2 spikes in 8 years, one cow on the OTC tag, and missed a 125"+ buck on my late December tag in 2008. Although I have not harvested in 5 years it is the fun of being with good friends, good food, and good times. So I suppose to get back to the question at hand, I have no problems with telling anyone what unit I hunt, and maybe even give some areas to try, if it will get a newbie into the sport, it will only help all outdoorsman with continuation of the sport that i have come to love. Thanks to all for this site, I have learned alot here. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year, may the new year bring big bucks, bigger bulls, and memories to last a lifetime. Oh Yeah my Avatar is a buck I killed in Texas. Almost forgot about that one.

Good Job Jake, as moany others have said, You deserve this buck more than anyone I know.
-
Brian, I just hope Jake entered the "big buck" contest!
-
Come on Tines, your pics have been floating around in the "text" world all day. No story and pics yet? Everyone on the forum wait till you see this buck. Good job Jake. I do not know a single person that deserves it more than you. For those of you that do not know Jake, he is a guide with Lance, from Timberland Outfitters. He has taken me and several people I know on hunts on spur of the moment notice, (Thanks Maia ) and always gives everyone I know all he has to give until the last seconds. He helped me with my very first deer. Always helps when I call and am flustered, and just burnt out, Gets me pumped up again to give it just one more day. So Thanks Jake, Like I said before you deserved the buck you got more than anyone I know. One more notch in the belt for Jake and TLO. Way to go!!!!
