It is my opinion that the signs "should" work in theory. The problem is that no one respects them or uses them the proper way. I remember hunting in Kaibab years ago on an archery hunt and we were driving down this road to get to a afternoon spot and there was a quad just barely off the road with a big sign sitting on the quad "hunter in stand - slow down" after taking a 2nd look the dude was sitting in a tree stand - right on the water - oh the tank was less than 50 ft off the road - WHAT'S THE POINT!!! I had a guy 2 yrs ago in unit 8 arch elk hunt who tried to tell me to leave this tank becasue he sat last night - come to find out he had told several guys to leave. Be respectful. Be courteous!(sp) First come first served. And like the previous post - "don't be a dipstick".

Adam you're my hero....congrats on the nice bird. Your dad told me he missed because ....the sun was in his eyes, he had a cramp in his big toe, he had bad gas, he was off balance, he miscalculated he wind or a multitude of others...just joking. Too bad your pops didn't get one. Nice Tom anyways. Hope to get one someday. Greg

Congrats...that's a great looking buck!!! You said that you love going down to the desert.......is that a southern AZ buck or Mexico buck??? Just curious?? Stud buck regardless.

LOOK....this particular guys post was a bit odd....he came on and asked for "e-help" a few days before the hunt and then came back on and said that he had taken a shot at over 600 yds....someone replied(my favorite) ...."somethings you just don't say...somethings you just don't post..." or something like that... Is it a matter of ethics that the guys missed at 600+yds - what about the guys that have hit animals at 80 -150 yds and never found them is that wrong?? I'm not sticking up for the guy because I'm fairly new to the site and would NEVER come on here and say that I hit and not recovered and animal at over 600 yds. Somethings are just better left unsaid...there is NOTHING good that can come from that....whether the guy was a sniper and capable of shots at over a 1000 yds or a rookie hunter and should be shooting 200 yds. EVERYONE will knock him!!!!!! I don't think that would have made it "unethical" just because he didn't post his misfortune on the WORLD WIDE WEB..... I'm fotunate/blessed that I have never hit an animal and never recovered it (big game anyways) but that doesn't make me any better than guys that have taken shots - hit - and never found the animals...I think it's just part of it. We as hunters have to be prepared to live with the consequences of our shots (some connect - some do not). Just my 2 cents... Greg

That's an incredible bull and at 11 years old too....wow. I'm 31 years old and don't have a trophy like that. Congratulations!!!! The bad part about coming out of the gate so strong is everything is measured from this.....hard to keep improving. Good story. Good pics. Congrats. Greg
