Nah, I don't hunt that sissy unit...........

Got out today just for the afternoon, I asked my 2yr old son if he wanted to go ride the quad and after thinking about it for a while he finally agreed. YA RIGHT!! He said YES before I even finished the question. All I have to say is "quad" and his eyes light up. We drove for a while and parked in, what I thought, was a good spot and got our things ready. Heck I just looked over the front of the quad and I could see this antler laying about 3' in front of my bike. Jeez I was only 20 yards off the road!!! I told Isaac to look around and find the antler. He walked around the front of the quad and walked right up to it and said "Antler". Aw yeah!!!!!! That's my BOY!!

Believe me, I'd LOVE to shoot him!! I really don't like hunting right now though, right towards the end of the season is when I might give it a shot. That way he's mostly done growing by the 1st or 2nd week of September. I've got a rifle tag there too so we'll see what happens. This is the best buck I've ever got pictures of. It would be awesome if he cooperated and let me see him in range and stood there for a while for me.

OH that is just to cool to see what he looks like this year!!!!!!! Me and my hunter last year hunted the bull as hard as we could and couldn't pull it together. Got some decent video of him at 100 yards with all his cows. It was a treat just to see a bull like that. What a hoss!! Can't wait to see the hard horn pics of him. Keep us posted with those.

Thanks for all the nice comments everyone, I appreciate it. I took some really neat pics that afternoon and I cherish them all. Seems like the little sucker was just freshly squeezed out of the chute. Now he's packin around in the woods with Dad. I can't wait till I get him his first bow and he attends all the 3-D shoots in the summer with me. Good stuff......

I was told by TLH that he was thinking about shuttin her down cause of all the bad-mouthing about the gov's tag bulls. Not sure if that's what's going on but maybe. People need to learn to let the court system do the judging, to much damned mud slinging from all the arm-chair warriors who know everything for "a fact" cause they heard this or that from somebody who said they saw the bull in the back of a truck.

My buddy Alan bought this horn a couple months ago and I finally got to see it the other day. What a beast!!! He scored it at 63" as is. Last year's horn so we're hoping some others show up eventually off of this buck. Pretty neat cheaters. Enjoy!
