That's where I get my tripods from time to time. Seriously good tripods and heads for about a 1/15 of the normal cost. Got a killer tripod for $11 then the smoothest head I've ever used for another $15. Can't beat em!!

Saw 5 different coues bucks this weekend and it looked like they have all been rubbed for quite some while. Dark and shiny horns it was nice to see them.

You all know me and my GRONG orange shirt superstition. Well it paid off again with these antlers. Glassed this one up last Sunday but didn't have time to go get it. It was a long week wondering just how big and what condition it was in. Well yesterday morning I hiked into the area and rounded it up. Took a bunch of pics then started looping for the match. Make fun of the hat all you want but it sure keeps the sun off..... I looped around for maybe 10 minutes before I came up with the other side only 85 yards away!! Man was I pumped to see that it had 8 points on it as well!!! The set is a few years old and fairly weathered but I was happy to pick them up. Also found this little gem..... And on the way home last night this little peach...... Close to 4' long buzz-tail.

If an animal is gut shot you should wait at least 12 hours! I read this in Bowhunter about certain kind of shots. Also heard some other bowhunter's experience and they all said WAIT at least 12-16 hours. If you don't you're more than likely to jump them and lose them all together. I know they're suffering but at least you have a MUCH better chance of finding them than not if you WAIT cause it takes them so long to die. Just telling you what I've heard and read. GOOD LUCK MAN!!

I've realized my sins and smashed the video camera in hopes to keep the eligibility of Geoff's buck alive for entry into P&Y. It's all about firm ethics that only the most elite among us carry and oh how I desire to be like the greats that have gone before us. They lead by example and it is my/our duty to follow like a lemur and not ask questions like I used to do for so many years. HORSE*#%! Thank God I learned to think for myself....... But that was all in another topic...... The video is pretty good but being the lame conspicuous consumer that I am I bought a CANON video camera last year w/o even looking at the stupid thing. It doesn't have a port for a fire-wire and also doesn't have an S-Video port. I am one of the lamest of the lame...... The stupid thing will initialize the mini-dvd but when you try to finalize it the option to do it is greyed out and won't let me. Therefore, I can only view the disk on the camera and that is it! SUCKS!!!!! Anyone familiar with the CANON DC100 that could offer some advice? HELP!!!!!!!
