WHAT WHAT WHO WHAT WHAT!?!?!?!?! Which house are you? You the one that's been sneaking into my truck and getting my top secret topo maps? If so I've got trail camera photos of you that I attach to the side of my poo truck every night to catch you. Nice choice of masks btw.... Jenna Jameson? Dream on.....

Oh my gosh Tyson that's just incredible!!! Kinda sad seein the old champ all tore up like that. Wouldn't doubt it if his antlers get REALLY different if he pulls thru the summer. Just goes to show what an old crafty warrior that makes it thru all the hunting seasons that are down there look like after smelling your sorry tail for all those years. I hope the story continues though.......

Casey that buck was picked up back in the EARLY 90's by Jeff Passmore in unit 8 and he sold/traded to Robert Morales. It's a freakin GIANT!!! Clay's coues deer are AWESOME!!! I split all my work between Dan Lee and Marc Plunkett but I may have to take one to Clay one of these days after seeing all of those beauties!

That's just way to cool Durand!

Coues? You can't be serious can you? It's a neat rack for sure but not a coues. I'd bet money on it. Great finds guys and fantastic ventilation idea for the "boys", just not sure if I'd care to take a cat-claw bush across the inner thigh more than once. HAHAHA!! Thanks for sharing the pictures.

That's a nice antler! But using radios while shed hunting? What's this world coming too....... - - -

Went back to the stompin grounds to try my luck again this last Saturday. Watched a few bulls that morning without horns and several with. After they went off to bed me and Gail started our search. Couple hours went by and I finally came up with this busted antler..... Never did match it up but eventually found this nice 6pt. It's about 3-4 years old and chalked but I had to carry it out. Can't believe I never found it before but that's horn huntin. As it lay picture of an oldie, thought it was pretty neat. More ziggin and zaggin and almost 4PM I was working a ridge and walked near the edge and I jumped a bull from his bed and he didn't have any antlers. I'd already busted 2 out in the canyon without antlers and I came up empty so I stood there and looked about 40 yards to my left and theres 2 browns laying there!!!!! Man was I pumped. It had rained the day before and I followed the brand new tracks from the antlers right to the bed. He had just dropped them that morning!!! How cool is that??!?! I happened to see this bull the weekend before too so that made it that much neater. Enjoy Yes, pictures have been cropped. No gimmes here!

Durand, not sure why your pics show up as small as a cell phone picture but hey, it's a start. Congrats on finding the match finally!! Oh and hey, were you taking scoring classes from dds when you found the bull alive? Congrats though man, that is just way to cool!

Dad, Andy and I took off Tues around 9PM and drove non-stop till around 4PM on Wednesday. We drove close to 400 miles and never cut one dang lion track. Bummer but we all had a good time hanging out with each other. They went back out the next morning and cut a track in the snow and treed this female not long after. Wanting a tom they let her go. They continued to look all day and eventually found a tom track and a huge cow elk it had just recently killed. So they showed back up the following morning only to find out the tom hadn't been back yet. After some extensive searching they finally found the track again and eventually caught up with it nearly 15 crow flyin miles from the kill..... Amazing!! Hap put it to the lion again but only because of Dad's knowledge of lions and their capabilities. Any guesses on the weight of this lion? Maybe TREESTANDMAN will keep his phone on next time cause this lion could've been his............. OUCH!!!

Tyler, No fresh snow up here that was worth drivin all night over. Lightly spittin up here now which is perfect to wipe out the older tracks. GOOD LUCK!

OH MY......... This is the first time seeing this dude, WOW!! You imagine how redonkulous that dude is gonna look in velvet?!?!?!?! Good luck in your pursuit my friend that thing is amazing!

Ya I'm gonna try and find one or two more here shortly as I think there's gonna be a pile of brown in there somewhere. I'll see if I can pick all of Gino's antlers up for him.... Amanda you sure are a saleswoman for sure. Guess it doesn't hurt when we're all sportin the "gear". I didn't even realize it till AzP&Y pointed it out. Trying to stay in the earthy colors cause I'll get spotted by Gino if I'm not to careful and I don't like rocks thrown at me. Keven, I know what you're gettin at and CLEAN IT UP!! LOL!!!

They were about 45 yards apart I'd guess. After dancing a jig and pumpin my arms in the air like watching a favorite team score a touchdown I found the match about 15 seconds later. And yes I guess I should made it more clear, the sheds DEFINITELY came off that bull, that's why I posted the picture of it. I can not wait to get back out there. Glad I'm not in a way cause I know there's a lot of other bulls that need to shed still and I don't want to push them out. I'll be out there in a day or so just easin around and doing a lot of glassin first before I do much anything else. Thanks for lookin!

There ain't nothin like the oozing black tar that comes out of a lion after it's dead. NASTEEEEEEEE! Congrats on a nice tom!

I got super lucky and found this massive buck dead this morning. Best and only non-typical buck I've ever found dead. Looks to have been dead for two seasons and couldn't tell what killed him. I knew he was over 120" but wasn't sure how much till I got home tonight and put the tape to him. Grossed it at 132 6/8" and nets 128 4/8"!!!!!! UNREAL!!!!

Dewey those are way nice man! Thanks for sharing! Hope you drag out some gaggers this next time

Gunna buy a new pair of boots.... need advice.
GRONG replied to Coues 'n' Sheep's topic in Other Hunting Gear
Gino here's my two cents on boots. Speed Hunter I go thru about one pair of these a year or so but I'm tellin you they are by far the best boots I've ever worn. They're light as a pair of flip-flops, waterproof and the soles are like wearing rock climbing shoes, no joke! I wear them in the snow, sit stands in winter with them and my feet still stay fairly warm. You can literally run a 10k in these boots and swear you're wearing running shoes. For $99 bucks you CAN NOT beat them!!! I have gotten the rock pinch a time or two in them but oh well I walk like a bighorn sheep in these things so I got no complaints. Some people I've hunted/hiked with think they're fag shoes cause they zip up but I tell ya I'm not pullin weeds, sticks or dirt out of my socks at the end of the day either. And I don't EVER go thru shoelaces in them cause they're protected by the zip-em-up deal on the front. Can't got wrong with the Speed Hunters for a C note my friend......
