Lance, you just hit the trail camera jack pot! Thanks so much for sharing these great pictures. Just sit on that location and keep it to yourself...but send an occasional pic our way.

That is pure country gold! A singer who cold stand on stage and sing while strumming a guitar with only a small band for support. That era of music is coming to the end with the passing of each of these legends. Now days an artist must have a publicist, a producer, a sound mixer, etc, etc. George Jones knew things were changing back in 1985 when he recorded this tribute to the icons.

In our house we hunt year around. If it is not a hunting season, we are scouting, checking cameras or just looking for a coyote to shoot. Beyond this, we squeeze in as much fishing as possible. This is all made possible by my loving and supportive wife Chrystie. She works so hard to make sure we are able to spend so much time in the outdoors. For Chrystie, her idea of quality time in the outdoors involves her three labradors. She loves to take them for a hike or a swim at a lake. Each year as the application deadline nears, she decides to put in for deer and for elk. When the season rolls around she is not interested in a body punishing hunt in quest for a wall hanger. She is much more interested in a simple hunt that will give her a chance to put some meat in the freezer. Here is her buck from this year.

This is a story of self control and marksmanship with an itsy bitsy shooter by a woman against a fierce predator. What is the smallest caliber you trust to protect yourself? While out hiking in Alberta Canada with my boyfriend we were surprised by a huge grizzly bear charging at us from out of nowhere. She must have been protecting her cubs because she was extremely aggressive. If I had not had my little Beretta Jetfire with me I would not be here today! Just one shot to my boyfriend's knee cap was all it took.the bear got him and I was able to escape by just walking away at a brisk pace. It's one of the best pistols in my collection. . . . . .

Unit 1 has no elk left in it, they all burned up. Best if you spend all your time in 4 with the little lady.

Did the tweet include those gun crimes that were committed with Fast and Furious guns? -
My mom drew unit 27 cow. Not many women in their mid 70's chasin elk. She hikes year around, and has been known to leave some of us behind on the trail. She has not had a tag for several years, but is always willing to pack out meat.

I drew an archery bull tag and yes the streak lives on. You're going to get me stoned to death Robert. 25 straight elk tags! TJ If I could draw 25 in a row I would consider getting stoned myself! Seriously, it shows what dedication can do for you. I look forward to pics and stories.

Come on TJ, post what you drew...does the streak live?
