This is one of the most painful, frustrating conditions you could possible have. To repair it correctly it takes a long time. Here are the steps that worked for me. I was not willing to get the shot because it is destructive to connective tissues. I was also not willing to cut back on my hunting and hiking. 1) Stretch a lot, all day long. Stretch against a wall or chair, stand on the edge of a step, supported on the balls of you feet, then lower you body until your heels are below the step. 2) Custon orthopedic insoles in quality shoes. They will have a high arch and low heal to keep the muscles stretched. A big mistake often made is buying the thick gel type heal cups. This is damaging as the heal cup prevents the muscle from stretching; they are exactly opposite of what is needed. 3) night boot that keeps the muscle stretched. They are a bit cumbersome, but work magic. Also, keep the boot on for the first few minutes of walking in the morning so the healing muscle can adjust to your body weight. Thats about all it takes, but it does take months to recover. Good luck.

Tombstone High has one. We completed a 6 lane range a couple years ago and the team is doing very well. They qualified, as a team, for nationals in Ohio. The NRA has made generous donations to our team.

I have long judged the character of a person, in part, by their ability to bring themselves and others up rather than resorting to the tearing down of others in a failed attempt to create the appearance of elevating themselves. Persons of weak or poor integrity are found throughout our world, and often wallow in the weak minded tactics of using rhetoric to label others. This is seen on a national level in politics, entertainment, business. It can be found in every local level from the playground bully to the blowhard, backstabbing kiss butt in the work place. Others do not need to identify them because they identify themselves. These low intellect individuals thrive in cyber space where they can hid behind a keyboard. They throw out rhetoric so often they seem to believe themselves as they feed off their own offal. Terms like U of Pay, Wannabes, Scum Devils, or Druggy U just signal that the thoughts of the intellectually small are soon to follow. Here are some facts about college basketball in Arizona. UA just won their 16th PAC 12(10) Basketball Championship in the past 32 years and 3rd in the past 4 years. No other school comes even close during that time period. UA is the strongest team this year in a pretty weak Pac 12. ASU has had their most successful season in program history when measured by AP ranking and season attendance. UA will be in the NCAA Tournament, ASU will likely be in the tournament also. In the only document, naming schools to be publicized (leaked) from the FBI investigation since their initial announcement, 23 schools, and/or their players were named. Neither UA or ASU were mentioned in the document. Sean Miller and Deandre Ayton were named in an ESPN story, based on an anonymous source, that reported listening to FBI tapes. ESPN has issued 3 corrections to that story since, and has now said they stand by the original story. By the way did you see ESPN College game day today? The Duke students chant drowned out the ESPN commentators. The chant was check your facts, check your facts. They FBI leaked document became public the day after it was discovered they, the FBI, failed to follow up on the tips about the Florida school shooter. This was just days after Special Council Robert Muller announced that the FBI did receive a FISA warrant based on bogus information they helped to gather. While we are discussing lack of FBI credibility, lets not forget the reports that indicate the NCAA investigation was initiated after Michelle Obamas brother Craig Robinson was fired as Oregon States Head Basketball coach following his 5th losing season in 6 years. ASU has their strongest recruiting class coming in next year. As of now UA has no significant recruiters committed. Sean Miller has coached 37 players through their senior year. This May he will have 37 graduates. Other coaches may also be good at graduating their players, but none are better. Next week, both our teams will be playing in the Pac12 Championship. On Wednesday at 12 noon I will be wearing a gold shirt with maroon trident as I stand in T-Mobil arena cheering on my Devils. The next day, at 12 noon I will be wearing a cardinal and navy shirt as I cheer on my Cats. Hopefully the Cats will be playing the Devils. During that game I will be promoting both teams, without ever allowing my integrity to drop by tearing one down in the naive thought that it will somehow promote the other! Bear Down Arizona, Forkem Devils, may the 2 meet in the National Championship!

College Basketball in Arizona: Reality over Rhetoric
Pine Donkey replied to Pine Donkey's topic in The Campfire
Easy to say that ASU got in because of their two wins over #1 seeds but OSU also had two wins. They also beat a good WV team. I am glad ASU is in, but no way should they be above USC. The national medias love affair with Duke has trickled down to ASU and the Chosen One who coaches them. -

ESPN projects the Devils as an 11seed in a play-in game against Oklahoma. It will be the biggest battle of meltdown teams... The Devils have so much talent, they could be a dangerous team if they get on a tournament run. Still a big question if they make it in. About 50-50 on expert projections. -

Its a good game. Ayton is having the worst game all year. Duece picking up slack. Up 9 -
It got pretty loud with UA fans toward the end. They drown out the CU chant.

ASU defense is horrible. Martin just bailed out instead of defending a layup. -

UCLA beating USC was bot a good thing for ASU. Some predictions have UCLA in and ASU out. Need at least one win in Vegas for the Devils, 2 would seal a bid. Interestingly, if ASU is eliminated, Devils will need UA to win the tournament to help ASU get in. If Devils loose and any team besides UA, USC or UCLA wins the tournament, the Devils are out. -

He has committed to UCLA, but not yet signed. Brandon Williams recommitted from UA but still has UA at the top of his list as he looks st his options. -
Here are a few thoughts from a die hard fan of college basketball. 1) All who have been found guilty of violating laws need to be arrested and tried. 2) All who have violated NCAA rules should receive a lifetime ban. This goes for players, coaches, staff, administration, agents, attorneys, and employees of sponsoring companies. 3). Those who have not done wrong should not be painted with the same brush as the violators. Case in point, Deandre Ayton. Nothing reported (leaked) so far says Ayton or anyone associated with him took any money. He is not a violator because a dirty coach and slime ball agent talked about, (maybe even offered) giving him money. At the same time, if he took money, or anyone did on his behalf, lifetime ban. This standard needs to be held true for all involved, regardless of school, talent, reputation or amount. A thief is a thief because they choose to steal, not because of the amount they took. A dirty player, coach etc needs to be judged the same way. NCAA needs a big broom to clean up this mess!

No grass, but have you seen the tree removal project between the south end of the Huachucas and the border? Opening it up to see the illegals.

Once you get beyond the bias of both Tucson and Phoenix media markets, there is reality. Both teams have signed 2 players ranked in the top 100. ASU has 29 and 55, UA has 31 and 33. Neither class is stellar, especially when compared to Oregon. The #29 kid, Tarshon Cherry is a USC de-commit who was reportedly one taking the $$$. If the FBI ends up finding evidence in the investigation he will be banned from NCAA competition. Lets not forget this FBI investigation is based off of Michelle Obamas accusation. After the past few days I have no faith in the FBI-Obama connections.

As of right now they have a calculated 76.3% chance of making the tournament. If they lose 5 in the second half of conference play, as they did in the first half, their chances drop to 11%. PAC 12 will likely only get 3 teams in, right now ASU is the second highest rated rpi at #42.

There is a difference between having a very good team one year, and being a basketball powerhouse. ASU has a very good team, and maybe the best 3-guard combo in the country. I love seeing them play at this level. They are my second favorite team. However, UA has been at this level almost every year for the past 30 years. This year alone, they have been to a place that ASU has never been...#2 ranked. Yes they were over rated at #2, but they did win the head to head matchup tonight. Being a basketball school goes beyond having a good team. It encompasses the fans, alumni and community in a way that they just expect to win, and are always looking at the bigger pride. To this end I only offer one antidote of proof...when ASU wins a game of this caliber, their fans storm the court, when UA wins, the fans applause the expected victory and move on to the next game. The game is over, now PAC 12 play is in front of both teams. How great would it be for these two teams to meet in t-Mobil Vegas for the conference championship and again in the final 4! Go Cats, Go Devils. Great game for the fans.

Here are a couple pictures of the bear my son Garrett shot yesterday. It is smaller than his other bears, but a good kill none the less. I am so impressed that he has killed three spot and stock bears in the last four years. Now it's time for him to take care of his old man!
