Why do people talk about cream rising to the top when a turd in the punch bowl does the same thing?

What's the craziest thing you have done while out hunting?

This statement is true, but also very misleading. ASU is ranked at the top of the American Collegiate Hockey Association (ACHA) with a record of 25-1. This is not even comparable to NCAA Division I Hockey rankings which have Minnisota at #1. None the less, any hockey team in the desert that is able to gain national notoriety gets a tip of the hat from me.

The cats are good this year no question about it. However, ASU is no slouch team and they will go better than .500 in the PAC 12. Jahii Carson is the real deal...possibly the fastest player in the country. Don't forget they had their leading scorer in street clothes due to an injury. I agree with Fork Horn that Sendek needs to go. He aspires to mediocrity. Miller is top notch. He will need to keep attracting elite level recruits because each year he will lose a lot to early leaves. Its been a great season so far, Bear Down!

Several antelope were collared, several more will be in future releases.

It's ongoing but I sure would like to see more.

Some type of filter canister?

Our Ag class / FFA program has been involved with this program for almost two years now, and will be deeply involved as the project continues. In one of the scenes you can see several of our students standing to the left of the trailer. Next month they will take pare in trapping some more antelope for release. They will be doing data collection on the animals, their movements, survival rates, habitat etc. it's a pretty cool project for the class to be involved in.

Have a great one Doug. Hope you and Rica are out taking your wonderful photos!

Haven't shot anything outside of petes but I may have tried to snare a cougar inside there once or twice. Be careful with those cougars. Sometimes they are a bit more aggressive than a young buck is ready for!

Ethics are not measured with a tape measure or a range finder. There is a lot more that goes into an ethical shot than distance. What is the individual's skill level, what equipment are they shooting, how much have they practiced at that distance, what were the weather conditions, what was the position of the animal, and on and on... I have a full time job making sure all my actions are ethical, I don't have time to judge others, because in the end, I control only my ethics and my actions.

What a great experience you and your wife are headed into. Cherish every minute, even those when you can't decide if you should hug her or chock her. Every minute makes up this special experience. From where you stand it may look like a long time in front of you, but it passes in the blink of an eye. Before you know it, you and your wife will be sitting in your empty nest wondering where the time went. Congratulation, and buckle your chin strap...you are headed for a great ride!

If this is the case, is there a preset number of wolves that need to be killed before that project is abandoned also?
-
I have done several elk with them and they work great. Never tried sharpening the blades, but at $5.95 for 12, I haven't been too worried about it. Two blades do an elk, with a third if you cape the skull.

The wolf reintroduction project is proof enough that the Feds can't handle wildlife! This country already had one war over states rights, another may be coming if the Feds continue to violate the constitution.

Yes, your tax dollars are sitting on the hillside in the form of lion poop!

Which team did you play for?

Yep, the 2500 is mine. The green truck belongs to MCElk. Wish I had known you were there, I always enjoy meeting members.

Things are not as bad as they were a few years ago. I think the groups of crossers are smaller and they avoid the once popular travel routes. Here are some pictures from several years ago.

Sounds like fun
