This post says it all! Nice buck, I love to see kids getting bit by the hunting bug, well done!

TJ recently made a post of his lab, Lexie. Many of us have dogs that we think are the cutest things going. This is a post dedicated to the devotion and friendship of good dogs. What is in the proposal to ensure the additional funds will be used for education. Arizona has a long track record of creating new taxes for a ‘cause’ then through legislation or administration, diverting those funds.

Bears and missed shots/spooked

In my experience bears are guided by their stomach. It would depend on the availability of food in the area you are in as well as food in neighboring areas. -
1:8 if you are shooting the 140+ bullets will work well. 26” will help the speed, without pushing up the pressure too far. Give Kyle Craig at Craig’s Custom Rifled a call, he had a wealth of knowledge and can do all you work for you. Heck of a nice guy too.

I love hunting during the rain, and have found animals to be quite active. The last bull I killed was in a moderate to heavy rain. It had rained softly all day, and we were in elk all day. I passed 4 bulls prior to taking him. Move slow and you can walk right up on them during a storm. If you are archery hunting, be sure to wear your rain gear while practicing to be comfortable for the real thing. Also, if there is a lot of lightning, get out!

The diamondback pattern tends to fade as it nears the tail and the white stripes are wider than the black on the tail (the little we can see). These are identifying traits of a Mojave I believe. My assessment is not scientific, but more of old rancher lore. I would love to hear from someone who actually knows if it is a mojave? Iaborn?

I put Force Recon rings with the integrated level on my 6.5 Sauk. Very happy with them.

The Depot is a good steak house without being run over by tourist. They are only open on the weekends.

Thanks, but like every other supplier I can find, they have them on back order. -
Found a roadkill possum while bear hunting today.

Amanda, Thanks for all the hard work keeping up with the latest forum tech. I know this is not a small project. Right now it is a bit cumbersome because it is new. In a couple weeks all us hillbillies will be use to it and complain if you make changes! Keep up the hard work on this great site.

Said goodbye to Remington tonight. So hard to put her down. She gave us years of love and memories. Her body just couldnt keep up anymore.

Every school district I know of is looking for drivers. Many need drivers for the late routes after sports practice. Might not be your thing, kinda like a big yellow Uber.

Plan to have a split retirement, our place in Nutrioso part of the year, and somewhere on a beach the rest of the year. No shivering, no sweating type of life. Been scouting beach locations for several years now...Cabo, San Carlos, Cancun, Jamaica, Dominican Republic, and Costa Rica. Next up in Belize, Honduras, Panama and who knows. I hope the retirement is as good as the prep!
