You might want to take a look at 208 AMAX pushed by Retumbo. I would be surprised if you could get a 165 bullet, moving at 3500 gps, to group very well.

Roll it up fur side out. Make sure no hide is showing. Put it in a ziplock bag and squeeze out all the air. Toss it in the freezer and it will be fine for a year or two.

Here is one that was posted several years ago. Jamie (MCElk) called in and shot this badger. As he picked it up he heard a snake buzzing. After searching around he realized it was above him. Some people would leave the area, others would quickly kill the large rattler, Jamie saw it as a photo op.

This is what I did with my sons bull last year. I bought it at Cal Ranch Supply. It fits nicely on a two burner Coleman stove. I balanced the main beams on lawn chairs. Good luck.

It sounds like you and Matt had a great hunt. It is so special to have time like that with your son. As he becomes an adult, the kills will come, pictures will be posted, and freezers will be filled, but time between father and son will be more difficult to find. Cherish this hunt and the memories made.
