Garrett and Cody have been watching a big muley for the past couple years. The summer has been filled with pictures and video of the buck as well as several of his 'little' friends. This morning they were not able to find the big guy, but found one of the boys in a very stockable position. They moved in to 35 yards and Cody let the air out of him.

Trail Cam Pics 2015 at Small Wallow (Dates are wrong)
Pine Donkey replied to azbullelkman's topic in Trail Cameras
Some real nice bulls in those pics, but I don't think any of them are even close to 340. I would love to see a side view picture of #7 to see his length on the top end. I love these kind of posts, it shows the power that a little bit of water has. Thanks to OP for posting them. -
Hope it's a great one!

My sons 1 st bull..... With a muzzleloader!

Great bull! Love the Father/ son picture. -
Wow, he is so wide he had to live in the cedars. He would not be able to move through the thick timber.

The only one on the field that throws a worse ball than our QB's is our center.

UCLA does have a punter. Poor guy hasn't even broke a sweat tonight...might not even need to shower after the game. I think he has been on the sideline watching the pregame show for ASU/USC.

I'm at the game and having to suffer through this...well the band looked OK. Guess our guys are tired from waking up early to watch ESPN Game day.

Cool looking, nasty old, saw blade bull! Congratulations.

This year I lucked into a Unit 1 bull tag just two years after my last one. This time around I decided that any mature bull will do; no holding out for a wall hanger. I hunted the first weekend then returned to work for the week with hopes that the rut would be better the second week. Saturday morning was very quiet, and I was thinking I made a big mistake. Sunday was also very quiet, but things turned on Monday morning. We had several 'almost' situations and passed a few littler ones. Midday, the storm moved in and out came the rain gear, but the hunt continued. Things came together Monday evening. I was able to sneak in on a small herd with a 6 point. When he stepped out at 45 yards, the striker landed right behind the shoulder and he only when 10 yards before rolling. The night was long, but I had a lot of help. Mark and Garrett were with me, then Jaime, Rich and my parents all came out to help pack out. We were able to get it done in one trip. It amazes me that my parents and Rich, all in their 70's, are still able to pack elk, in the rain, in the dark, through very rocky terrain. I can only hope to be in that condition when I am their age. Thanks to all that helped me with this elk. Without the help of friends and family, elk hunting would not be very enjoyable. The picture is a bit dark. I have a bad habit of shooting elk in the last minutes of light.

That's a stud and even has a little kicker. Congratulations!

Great bull. Way to stick with it and wrap your tag around one!

This world needs more nerds who know the value of living a rural lifestyle, and holding respect for the land. You're my kinda nerd!

This one will get a Euro mount and go on the porch. The picture does well for him, but he is not that big...maybe 300.
