I am against aditional government intrusion into the lives of law abiding citizens. Public land belongs to the public, not the bureaucrats! Also, will the ban be on all trail camera use, or will it be limited to the use by individuals. Trail cams are also used by BLM, Dept of Agriculture, USFS, USGS, AZ Land Department, Border Patrol, ICE, Park Service, US Military, AZ Game and Fish, USFWS, County Sheriff's, numerous conservation organizations, environmental groups, universities, research institutions, private researchers, ranchers, etc. Will all of these groups lose the use of cameras also, or will it be ok for them? Each round of regulations on our citizenry is accompanied by a new group of exceptions. It is time for less regulation and exception, not more!

Last night I cleaned and organized our gun safe to fit in a couple new additions. After the task was complete I told my wife that we only have space for one more long gun. Without hesitation she said, " I guess you better start looking for a second safe". No complaining, no suggestion that I sell some guns; just an unrelenting support for one of my obsessions. I just might need to keep her for another 28 years.

Thanks for making this post Lionhunter. I am looking at beginning a 6.5 build also. After a lot of reading and talking with people I am leaning toward the 6.5 saum (6.5 GAP). I am still studying and looking for all the info I can get. One of my biggest concerns about the saum is the availability of brass. It seems that the 7mm saum and 300 saum have inconsistent availability so the option of necking down and trimming may be a bit limiting. I did read a thread on the hide forum that claims Hornaday will be producing them this summer, but you never know.
