Estimate This Buck's Rack Please!
Pine Donkey replied to Buck Smasher's topic in Bowhunting for Coues Deer
Nice buck, good eye gaurds. Tough to tell from only one angle. I'd say 95 maybe a bit more. Do you have more pics of him? -
That is so cool. One of the greatest joys of living in rural Arizona is that you can take a hike in the wild just a few minutes from home. If you lived in Phoenix, you would have had to post a story about Julie and Sunshine'sadventures at the dog park.

Those are some pretty impressive elk. I can only hope to be able to hunt when I am 80, your grandpa is an impressive man! Heck at 80, I'll probably be happy to wake up in the morning, find my teeth, glasses, cane, and slippers. Huge congratulations to all.

Hangum high! -
I have done a few of those warning shots over the years. They just seem to sneak up on you sometimes. Glad the next shot found its mark. Congratulations on a very nice bull.

Very nice! -
When I shread up the meat for green chili, I often save some aside and do a shreaded meat barbeque sandwich meat. It heats quick and can be eaten on a bun, sliced bread, or tortilla.

Love the sticker, wheel cover, and license plate!

Those are two very nice bulls. Congratulations!

In that last picture it is pretty easy to determine where your camera is. Be very careful posting this type of picture, if you want to prevent it from growing legs. Now that you have been bitten by the trail cam bug, enjoy. It is a great way to "hunt" year around.

Traveling for coues MO to AZ part 2
Pine Donkey replied to CumminsRig's topic in Rifle hunting for Coues Deer
Those are some very nice deer. I have always liked the look of the tall bucks. Congratulations on the good time, and great success you all had. Thanks for posting your story. -
When I first saw this post I thought it was pretty cool that TJ and Peg went to all this effort to decorate their house for others to enjoy. I did not realize how tough it was for all involved. Ya know TJ has a bum knee and he is getting a little long in the tooth. I found a video of the work. Enjoy.

Nice picture, great shooting. -
Taking my wife out in 30b.

TJ, that's a beautiful deer, congratulations. You have had another great year. Ain't gitten' old a bitch! My left knee reminds me that I am not as young as I used to be. The problem is that my knee usually waits until I am a couple canyons away from the road before it makes its reminders. Thanks for posting the story. Now get ready to put in for elk again and keep that string going.

Holy crap TJ you guys go all out. It looks great!

Great last minute bull. Congratulations to you and your wife on having a baby.
-
That was fun, thanks.
-
Great bull, congratulations Elizabeth! From the looks of that hoof it appears the bull never walked in any rocks. Very unique.
-
Very nice buck. Congratulations.
-
The buck may not be a monster but hopefully the hunt with your family produced monsterous memories. Congratulations on a very nice buck. hunteraztuc, you may have set a new standard for low class on an initial post. Hopefully you will bring a bit more to the party in the future.

Great buck. I think he will score TOAD and an 1/8

Amanda, Thanks for posting this article. It is always easy to fall on emotion as a basis of decision making, but when it overrides science, long term or permanant damage will be the result. I know of several people looking to give away horses right now because they can't afford them. It is a sad sign of out economy, but it is a current reality. I love horses however, I don't want to see other species suffer due to their presence. As with most things, balance is needed.

ESPN is reporting that Sumlin is taking the A & M job. With Leech and Sumlin out of the mix I wonder who Love has lined up next? We'll know soon because she will leak it to the media to see how the local reaction is before she announces her intentions.
