If Crow does not act very quickly he will lose staff and recruites. At this point Love, Patterson, and Crow have bumbled every serious candidate to the point that nobody with any name recognition will even talk seriously with them. At this point they need to try to protect the 2012 recruiting class. To do this they need to name Noel Mazzone as interim head coach for one year. This will calm the storm, protect the recruites, retain key staff, give time to replace Love and Pattersen, and time to hire a quality coach. Anything else will be a case of settling for mediocrity in a failed attempt to save face.
