I have an elk hunt the week after Thanksgiving but should be available most of December.
-
I have the same hunt and wondering the same thing. I think their location will depend on weather. Does it take significant snow along the rim to push them north?
-
Which size or strap location? How many? I may have extras.

I am in need of 20 ish 6.5mm Berger VLD Hunting bullets for my upcoming deer hunt. Preferably east valley. I'll pay the going rate. Last shooting session I depleted my loaded rounds (have 7 left), then realized I am out of 140's. I don't really want to buy another box of 100 because I want to go with a different bullet going forward. Let me know if you have some available and I'll come get them. Thanks.

I'll keep it in consideration...if I can't find some on this side. Thanks. -
Congrats! Way to stick with it kid! That's a great first buck.

This is intriguing! I have about that much into my Harris S25, after adding the pic mount and lock handle. I will definitely bookmark their site. Thanks.
-
The tall Harris S25. Most of my shots are from seated position. Rarely can lay prone. I replaced the swivel stud clamp with a picatiny mount. I can attach it quickly when needed. I also use an expandable bipod, fully collapsed, as a rear rest. I think it's called a Polecat or something. Rock solid!

Congrats! That's awesome. Looks like a perfect shot.

Well sh!! Been in the works for a while. I didn't realize they owned Stone Glacier too. A lot of ammo brands will be under Czech control. https://gearjunkie.com/outdoor/hunt-fish/vista-outdoor-sold

Can am suppressor be threaded on?

That's awesome! I had that same kind of desk years ago. That seems like a great setup and use of space.

Quail opens mid October. That is way easier and more productive...and very tasty. Personally, I haven't hunted bear...haven't really had the desire, yet. I've glassed up several, had close encounters, and got pictures. Good luck sir. Thank you for your service.

Beautiful buck...toad! For being solo, you got some nice photos. Congrats!

That's awesome! Great bull!

Newbie neck tension confusion
Viper replied to Calebwalter's topic in Rifles, Reloading and Gunsmithing
I don't have a ball mic either, only calipers. I do what I can with that. I think my neck thickness measurements are close enough. I also run a .262" pin gage through each neck (poor man's mandrel). -

The bushing size depends on what brass you're using. You have to figure in the neck wall thickness. I use Hornady brass which is around .014" thick. I use a .289 bushing to get around .003" tension. Ex: .264 + .014 + .014 = .292 .292 - .289 = .003" tension
