It could be used for a side x side, however, there is a 20" gap between the deck sections, where the tires set. Look at the first dimensions diagram (top down view) above. You would have to park it to one side or the other. Might cause the truck to lean a bit. It can easily be modified. For running two quads, the gaps are handy because you can load full size coolers/gear under the rack and easily access it. You're welcome to take a look at it.

I've never measured a velvet buck. Does velvet add to the mass, or is it a non-factor?

Also try rokslide http://www.rokslide.com/forums/forum88/ and there is a facebook group that is nothing but kuiu https://m.facebook.com/groups/1602666143318319/

Holy smokes! He grew a bunch in 2 weeks. 112"......oh, I was drawn for elk...can I still play?

I raised my stock pack with foam pipe insulation...the grey tube stuff. It is easy to shape with scissors. I wrap it/stock with the camo cling tape and put the pack over the top.

Great video! I felt like I was there with you.

I had that hunt once....probably won't do it again. Good luck.

Evidently, the portal info doesn't match the G&F system. It says my hunting license is expired, which I bought online last year, and is indeed expired. I bought a license this year in January, at Walmart. Obviously it is in the G&F system, but not in the portal. I was drawn for Sept archery bull, 4B.

I added dimensions in last two pics.

Mine is hit for elk. Most likely Sept archery bull, 4A or 4B. I doubt I got 3rd choice...22 muzzy bull.

That's good info. I need the same done to my truck. If you don't mind, what did they charge? I need both front windows stripped and new tint.

It secures to the bed tie-down loops with turnbuckles, at each corner.

Yes, it is a 3/4 ton. It worked great with the stock suspension...not much role going around corners. It would probably work fine in a 1/2 ton, if the atv's are the small sport type.

They use trap doors...I'd take my oath on it.

I like my Cabela's Alaknak for extended stay, cold weather...even mild weather. I can set it up easily myself (just have to pound a lot of stakes). Has a zip out floor panel for the stove. Mine is 12x12 and the whole kit weighs around 80#. That size is ideal for two people, three starts to get a little cozy. They make a larger one...14x20 ? And no mildew canvas smell.

I met a guy with one of these. It's a really sweet rig...but pricey. http://www.kimberleykaravans.com/off-road-caravans

Here's another scenario...my son is in the Navy. Due to family succumstances he is stationed here until Feb, as a recruiter. He wants to put in for elk and deer. This will likely be his only chance to hunt for quite a while. What would be his best chance to draw an elk tag? I know it will likely be a late cow hunt for best odds. Also, it would be a rifle hunt. He has the hunter ed point only. I'd really like him to draw a hunt this fall. If not elk, he should be able to draw deer. Thank you for any input.

Thank you very much knothead! I will put in today.

Draw odds please for early archery bull, 4a, 4b, 5a, 5b-s. 6 bonus pts. Thank you very much.

Is that Jason Holliday? I used him several years ago for Javelina sausage/brats. Turned out great. I didn't know he was still in business. I may have to look him up next time.
