This is intriguing! I have about that much into my Harris S25, after adding the pic mount and lock handle. I will definitely bookmark their site. Thanks.

The tall Harris S25. Most of my shots are from seated position. Rarely can lay prone. I replaced the swivel stud clamp with a picatiny mount. I can attach it quickly when needed. I also use an expandable bipod, fully collapsed, as a rear rest. I think it's called a Polecat or something. Rock solid!

Congrats! That's awesome. Looks like a perfect shot.

Well sh!! Been in the works for a while. I didn't realize they owned Stone Glacier too. A lot of ammo brands will be under Czech control. https://gearjunkie.com/outdoor/hunt-fish/vista-outdoor-sold

My wife is making these home decor pieces from natural items we pick up in the Arizona desert/mountains. They are an awesome conversation piece and unique to AZ. They are made with cholla or saguaro cactus skeleton, Ponderosa or Pinion pinecones (cut and painted to resemble flowers), Juniper berries, Locust seeds, acorns, bird feathers, local unique stones, etc... Wreaths are decorated with same materials. Also, bearded Gnomes made from pinecone, seated on a base made from Devil's Claw. They would make a great gift for out of state family, or anyone that loves AZ natural beauty. Some have hooks on the back for hanging, which will be noted above the picture along with the length. Prices are in image description. Located near Val Vista & Southern in Mesa. Willing to ship if necessary. Accepting cash or Venmo. Can do special orders. Please reply here or IM with inquiries and feedback. Thank you. Note: I did get prior approval from the site admins to make this post. ** PRICE REDUCTIONS ON CHOLLA PIECES and WREATH. Can am suppressor be threaded on?

That's awesome! I had that same kind of desk years ago. That seems like a great setup and use of space.

Quail opens mid October. That is way easier and more productive...and very tasty. Personally, I haven't hunted bear...haven't really had the desire, yet. I've glassed up several, had close encounters, and got pictures. Good luck sir. Thank you for your service.

Newbie neck tension confusion
Viper replied to Calebwalter's topic in Rifles, Reloading and Gunsmithing
I don't have a ball mic either, only calipers. I do what I can with that. I think my neck thickness measurements are close enough. I also run a .262" pin gage through each neck (poor man's mandrel). -

The bushing size depends on what brass you're using. You have to figure in the neck wall thickness. I use Hornady brass which is around .014" thick. I use a .289 bushing to get around .003" tension. Ex: .264 + .014 + .014 = .292 .292 - .289 = .003" tension -

I used a couple kitchen cabinets and counter top from our kitchen remodel. It works great for the tight space I have available.

I have an opportunity to go on my nephew's Idaho backpack bear hunt in a few weeks. I will fly to Seattle to start our trip. Question is, what is the best way to travel with a large backpack with gear? I have a Kuiu 5200 and typical backpacking gear. Not sure I want to check it as baggage. May get all beat up, broken straps/buckles... Is it too big to be a carry on? Maybe break it down and pack in a suitcase? Definitely would want to "carry on" my binos and spotting scope. How do you all do it? Thoughts? Thanks
