I have not been able to confirm $1500 price tag on 08 binos but the lowest priced NIB binos I have found are $1550.

I am in the market for 10x42 ELs. Pm or email me with a description and a price. Pictures would be helpful too. I am willing to pay a fair price for binoculars in excellent condition but keep in mind that older(not HD,manufactured in 2009) NIB binos can still be purchased for $1700 from an authorized Swarovski dealer.
