I killed a bull there in 2010. I believe he was the last one that I know of. Lol Only advise I can yield is scout and look high. I can tell you we went to heck and back to kill the bull we did. Lots of scouting and home work went into him. Good luck

I'm the guy who pays by money order and drops his app off at 630pm on the day of the dead line. Been doing it like that for 10 years now and have drawn 2 deer tags, 4 turkey tags, and a bull tag. No need to switch it up now.

horrible We had 2 cameras stolen in 22 this year. We had gone 5 years with no issues and then bam 2 stolen in less then a week. I think we have one narrowed down in talking to the rancher, hopefully we run across the guys truck. Its sad because people have zero ethics anymore.

they are there. we were into them everyday while i was there. Middle of the day they were silent, mornings and evenings they are only giving you maybe 30 min to hunt them. Comming to the meadows way late. buddie is still up there. saw a nice 5x5 comming down the 116 road saturday. vincefmx, i believe we saw that bull thursday. Congrats nice bull

as soon as the forrest opens i plan on making a trip to get a better look. I have got to know 27 really good over the past 4 years and it sucks thats all the areas i have come to know are burned up.

That area up around sheeps crossing has to be a back burn. Good to see positive things happening

i hope there burning out from greer to sunrise and towards reservation lake. Cause thats not good if its running that way.

Lets hope the winds calm down today and they can get the upper hand. This fire has changed many lives and its affects will be felt for many years to come. The people who started this should be throw into the woods and left to die just like the animals were. They indangered alot of lives and they should be held responsible for what they did. Every day i watch i get more angry, more emotional. I would have never thought something like this could hit so close to home, but those woods have been my second home for the better part of my life and now there nothing. Thank you again to all the firefighters putting there lives on the line and stay safe.

To hear that its working northeast threw the Coleman springs area breaks my heart. I killed my first bird there when I was 15. I pray that mother nature gives everyone up there a break and they can get this under control. I truly hope it doesn't make the drop and head for Greer. Stay safe everyone up there.

Judging by the current fire map it has really grown since the am. Pushing southwest of crescent as well as north towards greer. God help everyone and every structure in this path.

A customer of mine was fishing the black when it started. He says it started in bear wallow canyon it self. He said he is almost positive it was started by man! Giving the Amount of traffic, and the amount of campers its not possible for it to have Started any other way. There has to be some sort of accountability for this there has to be. The 100 fine needs to be 100,000 then maybe people will think twice.

Killed my first solo turkey off the 403 west of the 191. It pains me to know that area is nothing and all of the areas I have hunted are gone. To all of you up there my thoughts and prayers are with you all.

I got a text eariler that gave me stomach pains. At that time it was 7 miles south of the 249 moving north/ northeast. This has potential to be way worse the the r/c fire. If its jumped the 191 thats bad but if it jumps the 249 then its really going to be bad.

Its depressing to know the areas that some of us were just in a month ago are now gone and will never be the same in our life time. How hard is it really to tend to your camp fire. How hard is it to care about the forrest that mother nature provided us with? One careless act has now changed a few thousand lives and god knows how many animals for a long time to come. God bless unit 27 and the residents of alpine. It wont do a bit of good but i hope the people responsible for this pay for the rest of there lives.
