Just picked up a 257 weatherby mag. I have some brass and want to reload some rounds and see if this is something I want to keep. Let me know what bullet and powder works well for you?? 26 inch shilled barrel,( if that matters). Also if anyone in nw Phx has the dies I could barrow ????? We get just over 14 in town stop and go. 18 on hwy.

I am selling a two door easy-loader plastic molded dog box. It fits perfectly in a polaris ranger or the bed of any truck. One guy can easily load and unload. I have hauled both bird dogs and hounds in it.. It is made as a two dog unit, but I have hauled 4 hounds in it in my Ranger and it was snug, but worked ok. I always do. My 300 win likes a fouled barrel as well. Even if I don't shoot to triple check the zero, which has never been out of wack, I will shoot it before I hunt just to foul it. Last year I was hauling butt to get to bear camp in time for the afternoon hunt. I pulled over and shot the rifle into a dirt backstop with no intended target. The rifle holds it's tightest groups from shots 2-10 and would not even consider hunting "longshot country" with it clean..... Just my .02 Whitey

Have glassed pigs almost every day in 19- while looking for the right mule deer. Keep after it. This time of year I would say water is the least important thing to worry about. They have very little insulation so glass sunny side of the hill until noon and your should find pigs Good luck

Well done! Shoot them all! More coyotes die annually by getting run over than get shot by responsible sportsman. I call a lot as well, and have never once stopped to think of the sex of a coyote when it is running into my call... Well done! And I am a big fan of the 270 wsm as well.
