Congtratulations on your tag, should be epic.... I shoot the same rifle aand have had great luck with 300 gr SST in front of 150 gr of tripple 7 My boy harvested a monster bull last year in 3b at 68 yards, and I shot an antelope the year before with in at 305 yards. In both cases the bullet worked perfectly.. I would not change it for anything Best of luck to you Whitey

My youngest drew a cow elk tag and we decided to change our 270 wsm from 130 gr accubonds to 140 gr accubonds for the added bc and mass. We started at 60 gr of 4350 and worked up to 62 gr. Got it clover leafing at 200 and went out to 450. Dialed moa that shooter pro called for and shot 1/4 low. Bumped it up 1/4 and he is ready!!!

lionhunter replied to CraigK's topic in Rifles, Reloading and Gunsmithing
Imr 4350, 62 gr pushing 140 AB is getting 3255 fps with great accuracy I also tried RL17 at 61 gr shot a little faster and grouped well also. 4350 at 64 gr pushing a 130 AB was my load for years (3350 fps) worked great on many deer and elk, but wanted the high bc in the 140 gr. the only gun a guy needs in AZ GOOD LUCK -
