I worked 0600-1800 today. No biggie I'm used to it. Holidays are just another day that get you a little extra coin for your time.

You can always lay down the standard load, H380 at 38 grains behind a 52 grain bullet. That is my current load using the Berger 52 gr varmint. Shoots good on paper, just have to break my calling streak and actually get something to come in.

I have always filled out the app and handed it to them. Lets me pass the time in line.

Got my 2014 license, lion and archery deer tag at the carefree office. Got 2 hogalina tags as well.

What time are y'all showing up? The wife and I may go depending on how our other plans pan out.

Same here the ground guys were cool. That was the first time I'd had an issue. Had I behaved more appropriate, and got a tail number I would've called it in.

I have about 12...I thought I had more. Where you located?
-
I don't have a hundred Accubonds but let me take count when I get home tonight and I will send you some.

Is that tag any antlered still? Should be able to find something with horns. Didn't appear to many folks tagged out on the first hunt. Watch out for the PETA branch of BP, aka the chopper that will buzz the deer off. Then buzz you when you express your gratitude...

How many do you need?
-
Yeah last time I printed I did 10...there isn't a limit when you first pay.

The cams are fairly easy to find. They are on eBay and Archerytalk. Anywhere from $35-85ish.

Anyone hunt 36B and willing to share knowledge
MRL1984 replied to no worries's topic in Rifle hunting for Coues Deer
You are talking the Sopri ranch entrance from the sound of it. Luckily Pima County put in access there again. It had been shut down off and on. I got ran off once by the rancher during the archery hunt in December. He was a jerk, but rightfully so based on the damage done to his stuff. -
Reward offered for information in poaching of doe near Tucson
MRL1984 replied to down2hunt's topic in Rifle hunting for Coues Deer
Too much CSI. Kidding as cans are actually pretty good for prints. The problem is DPS will only compare prints lifted to a specific person, so they would need to print the suspect then wait forever for the comparison of the print lifted from the can. DNA is much better as they do just throw that into a computer database and run that against all those arrested. Have had two DNA hits in 6 years, took about 1.5-2 years to get the results as both were burglary cases. After the hit you have to go get another swab from the person to confirm the hit. For a poaching charge I'd say 3 year minimum to get it entered, as violent crimes (against people) take precedent. -
Ford...no chevy... Seriously Savage is coming along nicely. More than satisfied with both of mine.

Aye but most of us have tags starting on November 1. Forgot about the mule tail holy land...
-
Um well since the mule deer hasn't started yet, I hope no one has shot one yet. Wait til the 1st of November

I shot a hogalina with a HK 45 Tac. It was a good time. I intended to use the Sig last year, but time and wind didn't help me out. I used the 230 gr. Remington hollow points without any issue. I think she was at 25 yards or so. Last year I had the 230 gr Gold Dots.

Archery talk classified ads. Not a guarantee mind you but a good place to watch.

Make one? Lots of instruction on how to do it online.

**NEW***vx-3l 4.5-14x56mm (30mm) side focus b&c reticle W/ factory installed turrets....FS
MRL1984 replied to Coues 'n' Sheep's topic in Classified Ads
I think most folks are missing the B&C reticle, leupold is $200 proud of it over the standard duplex. I looked hard for a Leupold scope all over the net for a couple months and every B&C reticle was $200 more than duplex. IIRC mil dots are about 100-150 more. You have it priced correct to market, don't know how well they are moving at market price, just saw them.- 10 replies

We can put a sold on this one.

How long it will take depends on a few factors. Assuming its in stock. Are you a CCW holder? You will walk out as soon as you pay after filling out 4473. No CCW and no issues when FBI checks you out? You will walk out with it after the payment. If you have a problem with the FBI check, but it isn't really you, then you may have a wait, could be a day to three. After 3 the shop can release it without approval. FBI says no go then never. Best way to get a gun purchase done without issue is that CCW.

Our local FS has 7, and only 2 were available for the plane crash we had. So even their LEOs aren't out in full force. They are working for IOUs.
