great story and pics! wish i would have got down more ! man that dope thing is scary!! nice shed. i found my annual skull down there 2 weeks ago.(pic below)i find one every year down there and they don't look like lion kills? i.e. the noses are still in perfect shape. was going to get out for gambles to end the year but its is snowing like crazy here so for now good thing i raise bobwhites..lol azmeat...jim

i guessed they did found lots of this years shells everywhere.2 guys i ran into said they had "limited" 6 days in a row..wow thats alot of birds!! hope to get down this weekend and hunt some rougher not so easy to get to stuff. azmeat

LAST YEAR IN THE SAME AREA WE DID AWESOME? GOOD THING FOR SOME HARD WORK BY "RABBIT" AND "RICO" WE TURNED UP A FEW COVEYS. thanks! i always enjoy my time down south living here in northland.doug the covey "rico" pointed (his first ever) was 5 birds which we took 2 of he was so staunch he looked like a backing cut out..lol i would like to know from a biologist of some mearns veterans what happens when you are supposed to have a "bumper crop" and yet we struggled to find 5 coveys in 2 days? cs i am so stoked to think i will be hunting over "shy" aka jaeger" next year james will do fine i can tell he seems very pateint and wants to doo him and "shy" right.thanks for the compements on the dogs i had to save a long time to buy into a bloodline like theirs.i raised "rico" and "rabbit" from pups. rabbit is almost there she did a couple "no no's" but hey 95% of the time she just does steller! "rico" is only a year and a few months so i was way proud of his effort he hunted very hard for us. azmeathunter...jim

cbc, her sire is 45lbs and the dam is 40lbs so spazz should be right in there.she is a sweeeeeeetie! gsps are the best family dogs i think there is.they just want to please their "people" my buddy and his wife just bought spazz's sister and love here to death and she is just their "pet" spazz has an awesome nose and bird drive as you can see from her "hammer time" point picture if you would like a few more pics of her i will take a few in the am and post them. i will take a face pic pf her that will melt the "boss" jim

couessniper, thanks not sure if its the same person but someone from vegas came by and looked at them when they were 9 months old but i think "mama" shot it down in "no dog for you mister" flames. i say get mama to watch "where the redfern grows" with you and if she stills shoots it down she has oil runiing in her vains...lol jim

kphunter, the dogs are in williams . if someone is serious about a pup i would meet up with them at a 1/2 way point. i have been running the pups alot down around camp verde to get their "cactus avoidence"training done. jim

they are akc reg dogs with a very good pedigree. game hauler i used to think "i didn't do males" either until i got my stud dog "rico" he is "rivers" daddy and is a gem "river" reminds me of him as he is always somewhere close to me when he is out. "river" is going to be a super bird dog. his pic does him no justice he is flashy dog and loves people and birds!! coues and sheep you are right on with gg she is the most loving gsp i have owned and all my dogs are "lovers" i am kicking myself having to sell them at such a low price as they would normally sell at this stage around 1200.00 but they i have to move and need to get them into good homes i would prefer them go to hunting homes so they can do what they love to do..anything with birds. i also have another female that is awesome and will get pics of her soon. thanks jim

here are pictures last week of two of the pups i have. pic 1 river is a male-smaller male super fast and snappy loves anything to do with birds pic 2 gee gee is a female-bigger female great disposition.would fetch dead quail all day if you let her. 7 months old awesome pups ! all shots,dews tails,akc registered. coming to their name "come" and the whistle. kennel broke. retreiving to hand 98% natural. started whoa training. started to the gun.super fast learners. need to sell them as i am moving soon. jim 928 853 2094

nice!!!! great looking dogs birds and country!!!...killing me not to be able to get down i still have 4x 4 month old pups i need homes for and can't travel with all 8 kids never thought in my lifetime i would have too many bird dogs lol. i will get down soon. i have 2 young dogs that need some mearns training.you guys keep the great pics coming and leave some birds for us guys up here snowbound with "too many bird dogs" azmeat
