    free gas

My neighbor in ND puts a gallon of gas per 50gal if I remeber correct in his tractors in the winter. He says it does the same thing as the anti gel except it's way cheaper. Not sure id try that on a $175,000 tractor.

    California Approves Ban

isnt the north worse? NO! Its all the libtards in the south ruining the state.I don't know much about California but my guess is that northern California, tucked up neatly against liberal strongholds like Oregon and Washington has its share of liberals.

^ this. In Colorado for instance you can draw and turn back every year. You just don't get the point you would have earned that year. You keep your existing points. This is an excellent comprise as if I had an injury or death in family etc I'd be grateful to get back as many points as I could. It would also alleviate the selling thing as no one with 18 pts for elk waiting one early rifle is gonna give up being able to earn a point. It would fix the whole thing. But until the. Anyone with 16 or more deer or elk points wanna make $1500-3000? Serious. Pm me

    4b rifle tag

I'd help you but I'm mad you drew after only 16 years. . And you've had a sheep tag! Haha send me a text 928-240-3567 and I'll give you a few spots to check out. Been out there quite a bit and my buddy has the Archery tag. Can't tell you where he has been scouting but I know of a few other good spots that could have a nice one. My advice is to find someone with the archery tag. They will be out there chasing them and unless they're really lucky they won't get the biggest ones. Every time I've had an archery antelope tag I wish at the end of the season I knew someone with a gun tag to ground check the big one I saw. That's my suggestion I guess. I saw a big buck about a mile from forest lakes one year so they can be anywhere in there, that being said you're probably wasting time scouting the thicker stuff with a rifle tag unless you know there's a monster in there.

Arizona or New Mexico for elk and mule deer

^ what he says. NM has so much elk habitat that they just have more elk to hunt. I would disagree that the quality is as good as AZ as the top end Bulls in AZ will always beat out NM but for sheer numbers of nice Bulls (300+) you can't beat NM. As a resident you stand to draw a decent tag fairly often in NM. They have a lot of tough hunts that you'll never draw as well, but they do have some good hunts you can get with good odds. You can always run up to Colorado to scratch the itch with small Bulls hetween draws for either state. It's hard to beat OTC January archery deer in AZ. Weather is awesome and there are some good bucks to be found! You're in a good position to be in!

    Double buck taxidermy ??

The BBB has no power to take away a license. They can only provide reports for consumers to follow. The taxidermy association would be a start, but again I don't think they have any true power. I'm really surprised this guy still gets business. I thought it was common knowledge that his operation was like this. I've seen it come up atleast a half dozen times on forums in the last year or two. He used to place pics on the Rutnhard forum when it was still in existence, and people would always post comments like "looks great!" and "awesome work". I remember seeing it and thinking, if that was my work I'd be driving as fast as I could to Mogollon to have him fix it!!!

Good Tag? 7 East Peaks Hunt Area 10/21-10/27 Any Elk..

I've never hunted this exact hunt, mostly going off of the dates and reputation I've heard about the peaks hunts. I have had late October tags in Montana and New Mexico and it's in my opinion the hardest time of year to kill a big bull. I like November much more because atleast you can almost count on snow and they have bachelored back up and aren't sacked away in the thick stuff. I guess the over hunted rifle hunts like 22n in November could be tougher. This will be a tricky hunt but I guess what I was trying to say in my last post is that atleast he's hunting, and in an area that does have big Bulls!

Good Tag? 7 East Peaks Hunt Area 10/21-10/27 Any Elk..

The bad news is that is probably one of the worst rifle bull elk tags in the state. The good news is Arizona is a really good elk state! I think there are 4 consecutive rifle bull tags leading up to that one. So the elk will be shagged down lower (what the hunt was designed to do). That being said, there are big elk in the unit so you never know! Hope he smokes one!

Again. Why not just say "no I don't want a unit 1 early rifle tag this short of notice". Seems kinda nice to have the option doesn't it? Maybe I'm weird but I guess id take it. If I didn't have time I'd say "no thank you" and someone else would be in for wonderful surprise.

so maybe the year i get called on a returned tag, do i have to make a split decision over the phone 2 weeks out from a trophy hunt? In Nevada you choose whether or not you want to be on alternate list. So if that's something you're not comfortable with then you just opt out. Seems like a system like that will make sense. Or you can just say "no". Same difference as not drawing it in the old system.

Then you'd be doing all the guys with 19 a favor. Still seems like a win win. You've always had the opportunity to round down in a party. Why are you so butt hurt about it now? Nevada has had this same system for years and years. Guides, DIY'ers, young, old, rich and poor all like it. They issue the returned tags on a return list to next in line. You can opt out of that list if you want. Win win for all party's, except KRP apparently. By the way, how much you want to average me up to a 4b archery tag next year, I have 4. I'll even pay your $5 for the point guard.

Looks like a great idea if you ask me! You can come up with all the conspiracies you want on it if you'd like. Fact of the matter is they still average your points in a group so if you want to hunt with your daughter you can go into draw with 6 BP not 10. Also you can do it only once so you can't continually piggy back off of them.

Swarovski 2x doubler worth it ?

Quick question. Why don't they make one that locks into the twist out portion of the ocular? Seems no differenr then an eyepiece locking onto a spotting scope? I understand they don't really work I just don't understand why?

Dear Game and Fish. . .

Sounds more like hunters that screwed themselves rather then G&F doing anything. I'm as hardcore of a hunter as the next guy but the sight of a wounded animal with an arrow in it makes me sick too. The game and fish has very simple rules about the archery harvest in relation to the aug dec and jan hunts. If success goes up they drop the dec hunt. Its that simple. No conspiracy theory. There was never a December or January hunt in 11m and the ratio of archery harvest to rifle doesn't apply here either since 11m has never had a rifle season. I'm not trying to conspiracy theory anything just giving the answer to the original question. I stand corrected on the season structure up there.
