Negative here.

Better pray there are no 4H sheep or pet goats along the way. Here in ND they kill any ram that gets outside a 20 mile buffer zone around the sheep herds.

Is this a legit post? I’m confused. I’d maybe buy this if it’s legit but it looks cut and pasted or something.

If that doesn’t work I’ll look around, we used to have a deal that went on the nipple with a CO2 cartridge on it designed to unload a rifle. Just stick it on the nipple and a shot of CO2 blasts the ball out. Might work.

So the ferrule with the cleaning jag pulled off in there? Glue is risky as you’ll likely get some in the barrel. They make those bullet pullers that screw into a lead ball, you might be able to get that to bite?

Good point. It’s actually one of the hardest to get out of. Short of dying there’s no way out of them unless you do income based and just don’t make any money, which would be the case if he got a professional degree but then couldn’t get a license to practice. I’m guessing he’s gonna be a dental mangenist, or maybe a surgical mansistant for a surgeon.

Seriously though Blake, make sure you check with the state board for medicine, optometry, or dentists before you go invest a bunch of money into an education because you will need to get some type of exception from the board to get a license with a felony on your record, whether it gets downgraded or not. The only thing tougher then trying to pay off a $500,000 professional school education is doing it when you can’t practice legally. It’ll come up in your application to school as well. It won’t ask if you’re a felon, it’ll ask if you have ever been “accused or convicted of a felony”. You’ll have to answer “yes” and then you’ll have to explain. So good luck with it.

Well on my dental license application it said “have you ever been convicted of a felony” not “do you have a felony on your record”. I’m guessing he’s far too stupid to get into any type of professional school so he won’t have to worry about it, but there’s no way in heck he’d ever get any type of medical license even if it is downgraded. I’m sure he’s gonna be a nurses aid or something like that and wipe asses for a living which I guess is cool if you think it’s worth it in exchange for poaching a few deer.

While I think it should have been harsher, as far as I understand it here is the punishment: -10 years lost hunting privileges (this is all states btw, atleast those worth hunting) -$18,000 in fines - he lost his job - this is the big one. He is now a convicted felon. This one I think people are underestimating, including noballs350. This will likely cost him hundreds of thousands of dollars in the long run, banks most of the time won’t lend or if they do it’ll be at a higher rate, the job market is exceptionally small for convicted felons. He can never be in possession of a gun for the rest of his life which effectively eliminates all hunting but bowhunting for him. He likely will not be able to travel out of country (canada will not let him in). If he ever goes through a divorce it’s extremely likely he’ll lose his kids as judges look heavily down upon felony convictions. This thing is gonna follow him the rest of his life, the biggest being just his reputation around town. I got a minor in possession when in college and I remember feeling like a criminal anywhere I went in town, dumbest thing ever, I was 3 months from turning 21 but it did teach me that the shame of breaking the law, even a stupid law is something I personally have a hard time dealing with. Whether noballs350 is him or his brother, they are compensating hard by coming on here and making light of this. His hunting career is effectively over and he just added about 10 more years onto his working life as retirement is going to be that much harder to achieve as a felon. I wish the fees would atleast pay for all the trophy deer we as citizens lost, but the suffering this guy is gonna feel is gonna last long after this thread dries up.

No body making their own out of deer? It irks me to spend money on it at the gas station or store when I know I have a freezer full at home!! -
I’ve got a 6-24 Nikon monarch I’d swap you. Originally when my dad bought it they were real comparable scopes. I’d throw in $100 on my end as I know Nikon is out of business now.

How did his hearing go? Or haven’t they had it yet? -
OnX makes it really clear. Every parcel is labeled. Buy the Bo permit. If you do that hunt right that should be a drop in the bucket compared to what you’ll be spending on gas scouting.

Wow!! I can only hope to be alive when I’m 80 let alone killing sheep with a bow!! Hats off to him! -
21 points for me now. Thought I had a tag this year but the cut tag numbers in the unit I was after last minute and that made me miss the cut. It’s all or nothing next year I guess!

I think all the mule deer in California are considered Antifa mule deer.

I honestly am surprised the guy didn’t kill bigger stuff then he did. He essentially had an all species stack of self prescribed governor tags. If AZ offered a raffle for 365day seasons one of every species in the state and I won it and could do it legally you bet I’d pile up some seriously big sh1t. -
You apply in December for the following year fall hunt or the next years spring hunt. The odds of drawing are about 2%

It’s really good. The only muskox hunting in Alaska for non natives is on nunivak island and is by permit only. The permits are very difficult to get so unfortunately you won’t be able to combo a hunt with anything else.
-
Sorry. Good point! I also noticed when I was working on gohunt that there are tons of NR who put in for hunts with only one tag. Like 40-50 of the 150 applicants for a lot of tags were NR. I know a lot of people give me crap for analyzing things to death with draws but putting in smart sure helps you improve your odds.
