Is this the 2nd gen? If so I’ll take it.

It’s just tartar build up. I’d be curious to see if the gold tinge to it was there prior to boiling, or if it’s a reaction to the peroxide or heat. It’ll scrape right off there in big chunks. If you like doing it, you can make $50/hr with good benefits scraping it off teeth.

I’m assuming you’re talking 22S late rifle? That tag was a guaranteed draw with 8 points so you got that before you ever had a chance at your 1st choice.
-
I love that saying! I’m gonna steal that one!
-
Do you have the original stock?

Water is great if it doesn’t rain, and if you’re just trying to kill AN antelope. If you wanna target a big buck, it can be tougher. The nice thing is if one does come in, you have a way higher percentage shot then when spot and stalking since you’re in a blind. That being said, after hundreds of hours in a blind for elk and antelope, I’ve never actually had one that I wanted to kill come in and drink so what do I know.
-
You’re really trying to go high horse after just telling how you knowingly killed a bull and didn’t recover it because you couldn’t walk? I would say “most” would have either got help, killed a bull in an accessible spot, or better yet both.
-
You do realize you could have killed an elk just fine with a broken leg right? You making a bad shot on an elk has nothing to do with your leg, nor the game and fish’s policy.

I think wounding is way under reported. I have been keeping track on our whitetail place here in ND and it runs about 60/40 wounds to clean kills. Absolutely terrible. There’s some family of friends of mine that still bowhunt there and I think they bat around .300 on actually killing anything. This is out of ground blinds to boot, it doesn’t get easier than that. I took away the elevated stands from archers a few years ago as that makes the shot angle even tougher, and they’re still wounding them. It’s really pretty dang embarrassing for hunters honestly.
-
What hunt did you put for second choice?

It’s a damm good time! I dunno a lot about yellowtail, other than how to dip them in soy and wasabi, but this was the biggest of them.
-
That looks awesome! I was in San Quintin a week ago shooting quail and geese. Took a panga out for an afternoon fishing and caught a bunch of yellowtail and some other stuff. Freshwater fishing seems like a waste anytime I get back from a saltwater trip.

Bought these this summer, and I’ll be honest, they aren’t my cup of tea. They have been hunted with this past fall. They have outdoorsman stud on them. Small crack in the rubber housing on the objective on one side. Doesn’t affect glass or body. Warranty card is unfilled. Willing to ship and insure on your dime. PayPal gift or Venmo or will do regular PayPal if you cover fee. Located in ND so likely have to ship. Sold

I don’t mean they ran the draw separate, just had an issue with running cards on the first round max point tags. Everyone I know that got a charge today had enough points to where they were pretty sure they’d draw and everyone that had charges yesterday said they didn’t think they were gonna draw.
-
My buddy just got charged for a tag he was in the max point pass for. Me thinks they somehow ran the random and bonus pass separate this year.
-
I’m glad there’s folks out there that think this way.

Dig up another $500 and get a good used set of swaro 15’s. You’ll be able to sell them for $1500 for the rest of your life. If you buy some mavens or athalons for $800-1000 (with tax as you’ll be buying new) you’ll get $300-600 for them if you ever sell them.

I accidentally clicked on a bull bison tag last fall just checking what hunts were being offered. Didn’t bother to call and try to change it as it was like 1:200 chance. Wouldn’t ya know I drew the dang thing. $5k mistake with NR tag fee 🤦🏻♂️

You and I have similar taste in rifles for sure!! I’ve got a 53 in 25-20 and a 43 in 218 bee but would love a 65 someday! Side note, on an $1100 gun what does gun broker get you for?

I think he owns the Big 9 Outfitting concession in BC as well. I can tell you he’s making WAY more then $1mil a year, or atleast was. Seems like an awful lot of charges for it to be a small mischart or accidental billing issue so I’m gonna assume things haven’t been on the up and up on the billing end of things along the way, but who knows. It’ll be interesting to see where it leads. If it was a mistake I hope they get it cleared up and if it wasn’t I hope they stick em with why they deserve.

Not sure how I missed your reply. I’ll take it. Pm sent.

Just a small heads up so no one gets in trouble, unless something changed in the last few months, a 1x scope is not legal in NM. It must be iron sights like NV. This scope would be legal in UT however.

As a healthcare professional, it all falls under your license. If your hygienist F’s up, it’s on you, your front office billing staff F’s up, it’s on you.

Do you list on GB yourself? I have about 15-20 guns I’ve been thinking about offloading, too many years of impulse buys. I figured it would clean the safe out and I could put some cash toward another sheep hunt. I have listed a couple things on there before but don’t have much history as a seller. Curious if you had ever used a consignment service for something like that? Also, bump for a great seller. Got the anschutz the other day and it is nicer than described. My niece will be fired up about it!
