I’ve got two pair. Wrecked my first pair and bought this pair to get through the hunting season till the others got back from swaro.

That last sentence is the most important and accurate take home sentence I’ve ever seen written on a hunting forum. “Posse hunting isn’t for me” ”Long range shots aren’t for me” ”Salt licks aren’t for me” ”magnum muzzleloaders with scopes aren’t for me” ”compound bows aren’t for me” ”private land hunting isn’t for me” ”guides aren’t for me” ”DIY isn’t for me” ”landowner tags aren’t for me” I can go on and on, but the take home is that certain things aren’t for everyone, and that’s ok. Maybe I love posse hunting and solo hunting isn’t for me. That’s the cool thing about hunting is you can do it the way you want. Don’t make laws just because you don’t agree with one thing or another. Just don’t do that thing.

Should be a paper trail on all of it

    RL26 FOR SALE

Dang. I would think you could get a kidney or even a tank of gas for 8 pounds of RL26!

    Mad as heck about Nevada

I quit applying for moose in WY and they sent me like 86 emails notifying me that last year that I was gonna lose my points. I don’t think there’s any state that just drops you after one year. Something’s fishy here.

    2022 draw question

Looks like you’re about 2 years behind on that one.

Swarovski 10x42 EL Range TA $3150 TYD PRICE DROP

Bump TTT. These are hard to come by and it looks like swaro just raised the price on new ones another $70. Save $600 after tax on these. Pretty much as new in box.

Fishing Lake Pleasant with float tube?

I think you can drive in at the back end of the Agua fria end and get to the water there. Should be way less traffic back there too.

    H1000

I’ve got a few pounds of w296. If you just use 3x as much it should be pretty close.

    7 day backcountry elk hunt

Seems like if there’s so little water a guy can’t live there then there wouldn’t be any elk in there not? Serious question, not trying to be a prick.

Switching from applying for rifle to archery tags?

Depends on what kind of buck you want. I personally would go to WY and MT and kill a couple 70” goats to get that out of your system if you’ve never killed one. AZ is special for antelope (or atleast used to be). You could look at 5000 bucks in other states and never see the type of buck you’ll see in one out of 20 AZ bucks. Then I’d hold out for a muzzy tag (to have first crack at em, no need for rifle) and shoot a giant.

    Swarovski

I think that’s just a Chinese vortex with swaro stamped on it. “But that warranty tho!”

This bill introduced and sponsored by the Democrat Party? Interesting to see people that traditionally align with less government and less regulation vouch for a unenforceable disaster like this that doesn’t really do anything other then make it more confusing. It might seem simple on the outside but there’s no way this is gonna be enforced and not just waste a ton of taxpayer money. I have no desire to have 6 paid glassers help me find a critter but I do believe that keeping government small and enforceable is a good policy.

    Hyperinflation is coming...

So honest question. I can’t get over the spot + pricing on gold and silver. Something about losing 7-10% of my money instantly from investing it bothers me. Is there a good way I invest in precious metals? Best site to buy from that doesn’t screw your on things? I’m guessing you’ve almost gotta buy it in person to avoid having risky shipping?

    17B & 19B

I think someone on here did a play by play on a muzzy tag on here and shot a frickin giant in there. There’s gotta be some of the biggest antelope in the state in those areas you can hunt so work the corners of them. I think there’s some public right along the highway on the 19a border and I know I’ve seen plenty of antelope along there. Don’t turn it back. You are probably 25-30 years out from ever drawing it again so make the most of it.

    7 day backcountry elk hunt

Just have a plan for what to do when you kill one. It’s easy to get 6-8 miles back with just your gear. Getting 250# of meat out of there is the tough part. I would plan on stock animals or not do it at all. Later fall coues deer hunts are made for bivy hunting. September elk hunts, especially off the rim are not.

Best tag in the best unit in the state!! Also please refer to it as ForBee to keep the Google search trolls off your back. Don’t take the safety off for anything with less then 8 points a side. I actually love that unit. That late tag is undervalued in my opinion. It’s a bitch to glass up there but just get your face into the wind and hike into the pines as far off the road as you can get. Keep your scope on 3x and be ready.

I think he got the Dora the Explorer bow last year. With a high FOC arrow that should do the trick

    Hyperinflation is coming...

I’d ride that mortgage out. The way I look at it, any of my current low interest debt (2.8-3.7%) is getting paid off for me by inflation. I’m making 3-5% on my debt right now and I’m gonna take any cash I can come up with and reinvest it. Now is a GREAT time to have fixed interest debt.

Awesome! I had that as my first choice but got my second choice. Still happy though!! Greg doesn’t guide the early hunts as far as I know.

    Anyone use the Hillsound BTR?

Shoot. Just ordered a BTR after reading reviews. They all looked good. Now I’m seeing some not so good ones. I got the 14” instead of the 17. Maybe that’ll keep the breaking down. That thing could be dangerous if it broke on you!

Sako S491 Varmint 17 Remington plus ammo

Sweet rifle. I had one when I was a kid. Aced a lot of fox, jacks and coyotes with it. Tack drivers and I love those tiny little sako actions.

Been so long since I had a credit card hit I don’t remember how it even works and when the results come out. What has it been in the last few years?
