    Molli's Elk

The only game kings I've been around we're small caliber so that's not a good comparison. I've been shooting 150 swift scirrocos out of my 7mm STW with really good performance at all velocities. I've shot game from 60-600 yards and all of them look as they do in the advertisements. I'd look into them if you're making a switch.

    Big cow ! What caliber?
  6. They need to start doing a dang harvest survey before they bother with DNA!! I think that'd be a little more useful.
  7. This was in ND last week. -13 here a couple days ago. They're headed south now!!

    Savage BMAG and 17 WSM

I was on a wait list to get one. That is until I shot one. They feel like a plastic toy BB gun. I thought it was to good to be true at the price they are advertised. Well it is. They are cheaply built and poorly put together. The one my buddy has shoots OK but nothing like it has potential to (2 1/2"@100 yd). I like the cartridge but will definitely be waiting for a different brand to come out.

    nosler partition long range bullet?

If you plug your variables into a ballistics calculator it takes a lot of what people "think" and changes it into what it really is. I quickly put in results for a 180 partition and a 180 accubond and they have a difference of 114 ft pounds of energy and 4.3" if drift at 800 yards. Pretty negligible if you ask me. Now we can all sit around and argue whether that 4.3" is substantial or not, but fact of the matter is if you are taking a 800 yd shot you better know your wind and how your bullet responds to it. I would stick with what shoots good and you have confidence in.
  12. They have all federal waterfowl production area land shut down here in ND. Can't even walk in to hunt. Can't go on it period. Not sure if the state wardens will enforce it though.
  13. Congratulations on a great start! Not easy to take down those the F14's, especially 2 of them! Were those both hens or was it a pair? That's a drake and a hen. The one on the right has a much brighter speculum on his wing then the one on the left. Plumage changes, but speculums will stay the same.
  14. Awesome bull! What the heck kind of muzzleloader cannon is that?

    Ar upper

I've got one of these for sale. NIB. If you read up on them, they are one of the highest quality uppers out there. I want a 5.45x39 upper instead. This isn't my add, just using it as a quick link to what it is. I'd take $600 for mine which is a steal for this quality of an upper. http://www.armslist.com/posts/983019/minneapolis-minnesota-rifles-for-sale--ar-upper-adams-arms-korstog-16-5-

Where are the Rifle tag pics?????

Hey Seldom, due to obligations with one of the special Coues tags we decided to book only a couple Elk clients this year. We had an incredible archery hunt in 9 and almost killed "Scratch" (aka Rhino) ourselves but like many times in the past we just didn't have that last bit of luck on our side! We've hunted that bull hard for as long as Mossback has and I can tell you that was the smartest bull I've ever hunted by far and I bet they'll agree!!! I don't know of any other bull that's had that long of a run with the best elk hunters in the state after em'! As much as I hate seeing Mossback's logo on that picture, I gotta say they earned it and I'm happy it was them and not just some random hunter that had no clue what he killed. Congrats to them and the hunter, I know they all honor and respect that bull as much as I do! JIM> As always Jim, you are a stand up guy!! I don't think there's anyone on here that wouldn't have rather seen Mullins get that bull!!

    Pool Service wanted

Looking for a pool service in Glendale, cross streets are 59th and 101. My current service has been getting shady on me. The house is a rental and I need someone to do a better job. Would like to get someone in the CWT community if possible. Thanks!

    Lost bull 4b?

Anyone hit a bull and lose it in 4B? My buddy found a dead bull up there yesterday. Let me know where and what and maybe we can help ya find it. It was a big bull for that unit.

    Lost bull 4b?

He already did. Long story short, someone sawed the head off the bull and took it. This guy found a headless bull that he says is his and "he can prove it" and called the game warden to harass my buddy during his hunt about taking the bull. The bull that we even went so far as to try to find the owner of on this site. Not being satisfied with calling the warden on my friend, he then harassed them himself the next night about it. Good grief. Kind of a shame that when you go out of your way to try to help someone get a lost bull back you get this kind of crap.
