If you check them out they have pictures in the link I posted Roger that. Those are different then the ones I had that replaced the whole twist out.

Hang one of those little metal hammers from a chain by each one. "Break glass in case of burglary." -

Umpqua, it doesn't sound like you have any experience or a clue what you're talking about!!! J/K!! That was an extremely good write up that covers all the important things about muzzleloading in restricted states! How about a pic of your unit 61 bull?!? My bro is sitting on 22 pts and I have 16. I think I'm gonna grab my ankles and go to unit 40 with an outfitter this year, my points are worthless anywhere else. Wish I could trade them off for AZ or UT points!!

AZGFD Commission changing elk structures!!!

I guess I don't understand your complaint? Why is it a problem that a guy can bowhunt on a muzzy tag? You've been able to do that for years? -
AZ- How long before we hit Bottom?
yotebuster replied to coues32's topic in Political Discussions related to hunting
I'm a NR who has hunted elk in 5 states. I keep coming back to AZ for some reason. You guys truly don't know how good you have it in AZ. If you look really close at the regs you'll notice that while some units have increasing tag numbers, others are going the opposite as well. Research your draw opportunities more, b1tch less. My $0.02 -
+1. Self tanned hides are bad news. The guys guaranteeing 2-3 month turn around are to be avoided as they are tanning them in shop. 2 weeks in the mail each direction and a couple weeks to do the mount combined with a a month or so at tannery is as quick as it can be done considering no backlog.

What ah... What... What is it?

+1. Thin skinned, thin shouldered, people like to dramatize and say they have should plates/armor, but they are much lighter in the shoulder then a coyote in my opinion. 22mag is ample, a 17 WSM would be a hammer on them!!

It seems like there are a few parts that don't have proper coating on them to avoid rust, usually screws on sights, rests etc. I rub a little film of Vaseline on them to keep the moisture out.

You're smart.

Hybrid!!! Sorry, In all seriousness, cool buck!!

Will 5.56 damage fox?

Use a FMJ. Not because it works dang good, but just to piss all the nay sayers off. -
Gonna use a spear this year to fill your deer tag? Maybe just a rock?

Austin and Halleck Muzzleloader for Sale

Dang. Good deal!! -
Unfortunately for hunters and fortunately for Kuiu they have blown up in the last yr and they cant keep stock in to keep up with the demand. I dont think its bad business at all. You dont see any other camo gear company running these specials and they dont have the retail markup. They even lowered their prices about 6 months ago on their most popular gear. I do like kuiu as a company, and love their gear, however I think this 25% off sale is a bit of a gimmick. Essentially it's 25% off any oddball sizes and it colors they can't get rid of (cuz that's literally all that's left in stock) and they trick you into putting the stuff you want into the cart before you find out its back ordered. They then get you to pay for it up front at full price and you have to wait for your order to be filled. Seems kinda crappy to me.
-
Went on kuiu site last night. Almost nothin in stock. If you add it to your cart and its back ordered you don't get it at sale price ended up finding some stuff I wanted anyhow though. Definitely no guide jackets or pants.
-
Whoops. Tried to straighten it and ended up with two crooked ones. Sorry.

Froze out here in ND but got with them pretty good before they left!

very true, but wouldn't he of had to draw a tag earlier for deer? He could archery hunt on the fort on a OTC tag just like any other unit. They had leftover dec rifle tags but I'm sure they're gone now. If I could pick between hunting on post and off post I would hunt off post in a heartbeat. They absolutely destroy the bucks during the dec rifle hunt on post. There is 125 tags or something like that in that small area. Combine that with having to deal with checking in and out daily I would definitely pass on Huachuca and hunt a general area elsewhere.

Awesome buck! Split tines don't mean hybrid. They mean its an awesome coues buck!!

Better hire a guide or atleast a crew from the Home Depot parking lot so the meat doesn't spoil. A dead buffalo is nothing to mess around with in the heat.
-
Back before ballistic tips and even rapidly expanding HP ammo was available we used FMJ exclusively for coyotes in ND to save furs. Never saw one object to it. Our ND coyotes are dang near the size of a coues deer. There are so many better options out there now I would recommend using them, a high expansion bullet leaves one hole, an FMJ 2.

OMFG! That is a toad!
