there is a member on the site that has a great quote, I think it goes, "I don't want to Hoyt animals thats why i shoot a PSE", I prob. butchered that but you get the point. Personally i wouldn't trade my X force for anything, you can go wrong, PSE makes Browning bow and there design is pretty much the same at a little better price, But when it really comes down to it you gotta get out there and find the one that suits you best, PSE,Matthews, hoyt, bowtech ect. are all great companys that can make a quality bow, just try'em out. I am a firm believer on doing it right the first time( cough cough....... X Force) have fun

Being patient after the shot....

I just shoot their legs out so they can't run. then I walk up and knife them. saves meat good thread. -
if your bow was shooting fine a week or so ago and now its shooting right at 40+ yards you have a lot of good advice that can help fix the problem, being I ask about your rest and cam is that if you have a hight torque bow rest can play a big part but with drop away i don't think that is your problem at all. If you are still having problems when you are certain everything is in line make sure that your cams are both releasing at the same time. strings stretch, cams come out of sync and split limb design can have different torque ratings per limb from factory. (It was built on a monday or Friday) theres alot of variables. some time when problems happen during season it's just best to take the arrow/broadhead and tune it for your hunts and not so much for target shooting. It can be a little bit more expensive but you can always target shoot with your hunting tips. Good luck hope you get it figured out.

So I'm becoming a pretty big fan of the this show Arrow Affliction and the host is always shooting flu flu's with his compound. I like the idea that they slow down a lot quicker and it would seem that you could find your arrow a lot easier. Anyone have any experience with them?

my guess would be your rest. what kind of rest do you have and do you hava a dual cam or solo cam bow?

the wind has sucked the past couple of times I've been out. everything move except the deer. not alot of activity. I think if that cold weather comes back well see it heat up one last time .

I think we should all get some satellite phones if the cells don't work and go hunt some boarder jumpers in the off season, I'm sure Border Patrol could have a couple of real busy days.

had a 100+ in deer in my pins yesterday, but ethics got the best of me. darn buck wouldn't stop walking At this range I can stick 6 out of 10 arrows in a kill zone but I would have to go into a deep state of depression if that guy got away. So he gets another week or so to live till I can get back on him. with that being said I was wonder what is everybody's max distance to feel comfortable letting arrows fly?

Has anyone stuck one or at least drawin back yet? I was really wanting to go after a nicer buck this year, but I think it's time to let arrows fly with only 13 days left of the year. hopefully after this weekend we'll get some good pics and storys -

I know it's kind of early for the rut but with a full moon and cold mornings I don't understand how I could see a herd of 17 does and not a buck to be found. 28 deer at first light all Does I had to take my eyes out of the optics a couple times started seeing antler on everything after that first herd.
