It's very satisfying when you spot a buck bedded and get to tag him, congrats.

My Veteran's Day Buck for Task Force Black

Congrats and thanks for sharing the story. -
MT looked like he was shuffling to and from a park bench. Getting old takes its toll.

Hope all the vets know how much this country owes them. Thanks to all that have served. This pic is of the pilots that flew around the blasts of atomic explosions at Bikini Islands measuring the radiation to see how far it would reach. They would wear the detection badges and return when they indicated maximum exposure. My dad said they would return, turn in their badges and get a new one and go back out. He is the front row on the far left. Lt. Col. David L Althoff USMC (ret) (He wasn't a Lt. Col. in this pic.)

I joined this site to read stories like this, what a classic already. Awesome for you and the whole family to have this adventure and memory for eternity. Thanks for sharing. -
Love the velvet bucks, this one is awesome. Glad you got a lot of pics and shared. I love hunting a new place, feels like anything is possible, and for you it was. Congratulations.

Congratulations on your bull and the video showed how you dream it can happen with him coming in, bugling, stopping with a clear shot to the vitals, and you connecting. Pretty cool.
-
Really nice bull, congrats!
-
Congrats on a great bull. The smile says it all

Thanks for taking us with you on your hunt. Sounds like you gave it your all and that's all you can do. Been fun seeing your updates.
-
Way to stick with it and congrats!

Are you using a tripod for the binos? If not, you're doing it the hard way. You will never regret buying a decent tripod and a decent set of binos, like 15x60's. Get out to a good glassing spot at first light where you can actually see the ground (look for the yellow grass on the hillside). Be patient and have fun.

Good luck to both of you. Keep us posted.

Congrats on a really nice buck

Huge Congratulations! Great write up, glad it paid off for you. Archery antelope can be one of the funest , yet difficult hunting options there is. Thanks for sharing the story.

That's a pretty solid offer right there. Newbie strikes gold!
-
Dang, he's an awesome buck! Congrats and thanks for a deer photo on a deer site.

That is too cool. I bet you were like the proverbial kid in the candy store.

I still do the tent thing. Never liked pulling a trailer and most of the places I hunt, the road will beat ya up getting in there, so forget about pulling a trailer. I would prefer a trailer but that's only when i can talk my brother into bringing his. I just upgraded my tent to what they call a 12 man tent, but it's just for me. i don't get much sleep trying to share a small sleeping space. It's not any harder to set up than my old 6 man tent that the zipper just gave out on.

Wondering if he dropped out because he realizes his mental state has failed him, (which means he should bow out NOW and not wait till Trump is sworn in) or if Pelosi, Schumer, and Jeffries have convinced him that it would be a disaster for the down ticket for the Dems (making it a political strategy)??? Either way, it exposes the dishonest efforts of the Democrats leaders and most in the media for the last 3+ years. Not a slam on everyday democrats that are my friends, neighbors, and family members, but directed at the dishonest leaders and media.

Psst, jdown, it's a bull, not a buck. One of the things making your post look silly unless it's just sarcasm and it didn't work.

Maybe non-resident is a factor??

We had 30b Oct and Nov as 3rd and 4th choices and got squaduche, so no leftovers there.
