I can finally refresh my salt. Hope it's in time for archery season.

If G&F wants it, they can go look for it "where we left it". That's my story and I'm sticking to it. 😉

I finally upgraded and got a new hunting /target bow so these two are now looking for their next owner. The Charger is a great mid range bow and in pretty good condition. It has a Rip Cord rest and is set at 65lbs and 28 in draw. Just had the string replaced a few months ago. Plenty of life left in this one. $300.00 includes the case shown in pics. The Vantage Elite Pro has a newer string and is still in pretty good condition. It has signs of wear to the finish on the lower limb (see pic) but still cleans up nice with that pretty emerald green finish. Currently has 75% let off mods and comes with 65% mods too. Also included are the two stabilizers and the quick connects from Spider in matching emerald color. I was using washers from Home Depot for weights on the ends, but you can replace them with whatever you want if looks are critical. (washers cost about $2.50 and fancy real weights from a shop are way more than I was willing to pay.) Price with the stabilizers and quick disconnects is $525.00. Without stabs is $400.00. Call Doug at 602-319-4096.

If Biden wins, the coverage will ramp up so they can show how much the people need the government to care for them. It will attempt to show how much you need to be taken care of by the nanny state. ( more government provided income -stimulus checks) Just my opinion

I hope he slays a toad.

Since I drew my 4th choice for deer this year I decided to give my whining #ss a new bow for the archery otc hunt. Decided on the new Hoyt Axius. A big upgrade from the Charger I bought 6 years ago and have been making due with. Now I'm excited all over again. Doing my part to stimulate my local archery shop. Now I have to sell my old bows to offset some of the cost. Congrats to all who drew their first choice this year.

I have had a couple of antelope come to me by waving a paper napkin. One time I spotted a smaller buck with a doe approx 500 yds across a wide open field. They were just inside the shrub line and I was walking to them without a stick to hide behind. I just waved the Taco Bell napkin over my head and was able to walk up to about 70 yds to them as they watched me. They are very curious. When I crouched behind a small shrub I put the napkin on an arrow and waved it above the bush. The doe started coming closer and the buck followed. I didn't quite get the shot that time , but it was close. Another time I spotted a herd with about twenty does and a real nice buck bedded. I was able to sneak up to about 100 yds from them and hunker down behind some small shrubs. I put the napkin on my arrow and started waving it. He got up and started coming to check it out. Just before he got within range, the lead doe got up and ran away. He spotted her and went after her. He brought her back to the herd and then started to come my way again. That b*tch took off again just before I could draw. He went after her again and this time I crawled up to the bush he had been by. I started drawing him in a third time and this time the whole herd took off. He saw them running, looked my way, and decided to follow the herd. That matriarch saved his bacon that day. The napkin trick doesn't always work, but if the buck hasn't seen that trick yet, you might get a chance. Best of luck on the tag.

Some deer get skittish and some don't seem to pay much attention. I had 4 big muleys slowly approach a tank I had a pop up bling set up by the fence- all brushed in- and three stayed back while the one got about 45 yds but decided he didn't like what he saw so they all left. Other times I've sat my chair behind some branches and sat still while a 4x4 looked my way once and just kept coming in till I double lunged him at 23 yds. I personally think wind and scent control are priorities

Waiting for card hits each year is my "kid on Christmas morning" experience. This year my brother used his card and he says he doesn't know how to check his card for hits!! Doing a slow burn right now. I told him to call the number on back of his card.

Love the mount on the stump. Great way to display without a vaulted ceiling.
