Was this the buffalo incident everone was talking about

Public land, public access. Private land, private access. Doesn't matter how many "set ups" a business has put effort into for a profit if it is on public land, that by definition is "public use". Effort put into a hunt by one person is never the same as the effort of another hunter. -
That's a beautiful buck with some great character. Congrats.

Merry Christmas to everyone!

Nice forky

The money spent on influencers to bring more hunters to AZ could be better spent on an ad campaign promoting positive images about hunters and how we actually help overall wildlife populations.

The first time I read his view that women belong in the kitchen I thought he was an *sshat that had too much to drink , but as I got to know him through his posts about his daughter and how proud he was of her I realized it was just his schtick and I came to look forward to his stirring the pot to try and get a reaction. Miss him for sure.

I think it was Larry the Cable Guy who within the past few years was joking about hunting and gave the sage advice to any hunters that sit a blind when he said that the first thing you need to do when you get to the blind is open all 5 of your beers at once so you don't make noise later on when something might be coming in. He is part of the Redneck Comedy Tour with Foxworthy and the boys.

Saw this on Instagram...what’s your take?

I'm in favor of mandatory reporting, just like bear season. If a unit hits its harvest goal, then you can close it. -
My last trip to 24A was a bitch too. The wind picked up my tent (it was staked down and had my cot, sleeping bags, and clothes bags inside) and threw it into a prickley pear patch 20 feet away. It broke some poles and ripped it open. Not one of my funner trips.

Try Shane Lafortune 480-206-0609. I've used him a few times and he has done excellent work.

So cool that your son was the one wanting to go more. Good on you for setting the hook in the next generation. Nice bull too, congratulations.

So two lucky bastages get to hunt Coues from Dec to Feb with a rifle , without having to be Richie Rich? I've been lucky before and I've definitely been called a bastage , I'm in! "So, you're saying there's a chance"

Love the full draw pic. Congrats to him.

I have hunted an area in unit 23 on and off for years and have seen fighter jets come roaring just above the tree tops and following some of the canyons that are in the area. There are usually two, or sometimes three of them doing practice runs, following each other. Always cool to see and hear as it sounds like a freight train is just about to hit you. This past week I was walking on one of the open grass covered mesas next to a long canyon. I looked up and saw , then heard, a fighter jet coming my direction, low and fast. I guess he was about 200 to 300 yards above the tree tops. (It's hard to judge the actual distance of something moving that fast, but he was low) I started waving my arrow above my head at him to say "Hi". He must have noticed me because, in one swift movement he turned sideways for a split second, then as he was over top of me , he went inverted for a split second and then he rolled upright again and then finished off with a little waggle of the wings , as if to say "how 'bout that". Then he was gone from sight. I was left standing there in amazement at what just happened. An F-22 fighter jet just flew over top of me, INVERTED, and shook his wings at me. Truly one of the most awesome experiences I have ever had while deer hunting. And , no I didn't get a deer on this trip, but I didn't really mind.
