Had an old timer tell me once that you can shove some bread in the pipe and it will temporarily block the water so you can do the quick repair and that the water will dissolve the bread and flow again. Any plumbers out there heard of this ?

That's awesome. So much more fun in camp when you both tag out. Congratulations and thanks for sharing.

That's a nice one, congrats.

Happy New Year to you too. You might want to post like minded comments on the "Campfire" instead of the help column. More likely to get noticed and responded to. 😊

Sometimes hunting is easy
bigbuckfever replied to idgaf's topic in Muzzleloader hunting for Coues Deer
There's nothing like spotting a shooter buck right out of the gate on opening morning. That's the kind of action that could get a guy to thinking "hunting is easy", lol. Dang nice buck, especially for your 5th choice. Congrats, we all know how much time you typically put in to make it look easy. -
Thanks to all our Vets, past and present

Unit 10 Babbitt Ranch and AJA Sheep CO accessibility

I made the mistake of setting up camp around the tracks and spent a few miserable nights there before finally moving to a different area. Those trains will keep you up most of the night. Best of luck to you and your dad. -
Congrats to that young man! I've got two about that size and they were very tasty.

Multiple bulls came thru my brother's property in Young last night screaming. Came within 80 yards of his campfire just at dark and put on quite a show.

What weird stuff have you glassed or happen well glassing for game?
bigbuckfever replied to seek100plus's topic in Coues Deer Hunting in Arizona
I was archery antelope hunting in 2B years ago out south of the power plant and was sitting in my truck glassing some flats. It was hot as heck so I was sipping on a few cold cervesas. I spotted another vehicle and it was coming my way and seemed to be in a hurry. As it got closer I noticed it was a sheriff car. I quickly finished what was left of my beer and buried the can in the back seat under my rain jacket. I was immediately thinking that they had watched me (in the middle of nowhere) drinking and thought I was going to be hauled in. I was thinking 'You've got to be kidding me" Well they pulled up next to me and instesd of arresting me, they asked if I knew how to get to the highway from here. Oh, thank god, they were just lost and pretty embarrased about it. I pointed them in the right direction and they beat cheeks out of there. -
Dang, almost! Regroup and get back at it.
