I have seen in those units men in full camouflage also carrying AR's. Last one was in 36B, glassed two of them in th opposite ridge, one was carrying what it looked like an AR and the other one a rifle. They were carrying back packs, I assumed they were hunters. A couple minutes later I herd some voices below me; there were another two guys in full camo carrying AR's also. I wistle at them and wave at them to let them know I was there. They came to me and I find out they were Border Patrol and so the other two in the opposite ridge; they were comunicating back and fort with their radios. Aparently some one reported seen some illegals in the area and reported to them. It was nice to see them there and thank them for their service and told them to catch them all as they continued with their search. Ernesto C

No you can't get to tags for the first come first serve or in the first draw. That's what I'm saying...you can't have two tags of the same species at the same time correct? For example....if you got drawn for the general or rifle season in unit 36C...In order to buy a left over tag for unit 36B you will need to fill out your 36C tag first before you buy the left over tag..correct? that I'm right or wrong? You can't have two unfilled javelina tags for different hunts before the hunt or season start, correct?? Ernesto C

Yes, you could also get an over the counter tag. Correct me if I'm wrong please.....A hunter can't posses two tags of the same game at the same time correct? In another words, if you have a archery javelina tag you will need first to fill out that tag in order to buy the second left over tag for a differen hunt number correct?

NO, cuase you will not be hunting that specific game that the season will open the day after or ended the day before; besides those aren't your intentions. My personally always carry a loaded gun (nothing in the chamber) cause I always carry a M. Lion tag or if a see a coyote or two. Ernesto C

My Monster Energy, diet and excercise, comes when I start thinking on or about the hunt on the previous months. I start thinking about the beautiful sunrise hitting the mountains, when I start thinking about the peace and how good it feels to be away from the city with all its daily routine and noises. It gives me Monster Energy when I start thinking about the fire at camp sharing jokes with friends and/or family while eating some carne asada It gives me more energy the closer I get to to opening day. Opening morning carrying my back pack with all my glassing equipment and my favorite rifle. Yes that's my diet, excercise and Energy drink Admiring God's perfect landscape and and wildlife...I feel alive and millionare; heck I bet some millionares out there they have'n experience what we do.......yes I'm getting hungry for more of this " diet and excercise" Haha I cant wait.......I cant wait to be glassing and also thinking abuout the excitment of the day while admiring a beautiful sunset. The dates are practically the same every year. For example last year the season was from November 18 to February 5. November 18 was a friday and February 5 was a Sunday.....so this year is the same....November 16 is a Friday and February 3 is a Sunday. In another words, the season will start the 3rd Friday of November and it will end the first Sunday of February. Or are you thinking maybe another species? Turkey or Pheasan perhaps? Ernesto C

On the 270 Weatherby Magnum, what's the barrel length? How old is the rifle? How many rounds trhoug the barrel? And finally, where are you located? Ernesto C
