I glassed one lion last week, but I looked very hard to see if it had balls..... couldn't tell. I didn't shoot cause I did not wanted to get any one upset if I happen to kill a female lion! It was 348 yards from me.. watched him like for 3 to 5 minutes, never saw its rear end that good or underneath him really good to see if it was male or female. Good post and please don't give up. Your persistence will pay off. Thanks for sharing your adventure. Ernesto C

I don't know about elk....but you'll be surprised by the amount of hunters that would pass on a 100 inch buck! Ernesto C
