Pigs like saddles near the higher hills. If you are in the flats check the main washes for tracks and if it is hot they will hang out in the thick stuff in those washes.

Rebeckah passed away last night after a long battle with colon cancer. She made it 2 years longer than anyone thought she would. Her family is in our prayers.

Last year or the year before in 23 during my HAM hunt there were 3 planes doing this. We thought maybe it was an airplane club. But just like Andy said they were flying like they had predetermined points, so maybe it was G&F. No wonder I did not see any pigs.....

We finally got out to try LukeDuke's new Foxpro Scorpion on Sunday. I set up on the downwind side and about the 5 minute mark here he comes. Shot him at about 70 yds. with the BAR .243. Nice job! Many of us older guys are starting to slow down some. If we want to keep hunting we need to take care of ourselves. Glad it all worked out for you!

I found it. Its head is on the right, body on the left. Still very tough to find even when clicking on the picture.

Pretty sure it is a 3906. They are pretty good little guns.

Well this year I didn't miss but almost did. I had a steep uphill shot at a cow elk. I ranged her at 415 yds. I dialed my turret to 375 yds. thinking of the steep uphill shot. I hit her low but good enough to put her down. The last 200 yards up to her was probably a 45 degree slope. My thought was to aim low hence dialing the turret short of what I had ranged the elk at.

Just subscribed yesterday. Can't wait for the 1st issue.
