Went up to Flagstaff early Tuesday morning before my daughters softball game up there and did some scouting in 7. Found a broken off antler from a decent size elk.

I have an Armalite w/ 20" heavy barrel and a Leupold Mark AR scope 3 to 9 x 40. It's too heavy to carry all day, but it's great shooting off a standing bipod. Have only shot p-dogs and jackrabbits so far.

TCS stands for Triple Crown Sports. It's girls fastpitch softball. There are 1 or 2 tournaments every summer in Flag.Usually played at Thorpe Fields and others.

When we were in 7 on Tuesday the only animal we saw was a nice buck antelope. He was a shooter for sure too. We tried to take a cell phone picture thru the binocs but he kept moving.

Lots of times cars are stolen just for joyrides or transportation for a few days. Glad you got it back!

My friend's girl and boy each got nice gobblers a day apart this past weekend. Not sure what unit though.

I only put my girls in for regular elk hunts. My 14 year old has 2 tags in a row now for cow. We will still put in for jr. Deer though.

We were just talking about this yesterday. I got my 1st bull elk at age 26. And now in the last 22 years I have shot 4 bulls and 6 cows. And have helped my son get 3 and my girl get 1. I can't complain....

We put all 5 in our family separate. Got 3 cow tags and a p-horn tag. We just like to hunt elk so cow is our 2nd choice most times.

Got 3 cow elk tags for 7W and wifey got her unit 7 antelope tag.

Dude! My wife has this tag too. If you want to split gas and scout together let me know. I had this tag in '06 and know some spots to start looking at.
