I'll be shooting in town tomorrow. My field points were even a little high up north. I won't touch anything until I think I need to. Thanks for all the replies!

I'm sighting in my hunting arrows. Here in town my broad heads at 30 yards are pretty much dead on. I was up this weekend where I'll be staying for the hunt and was shooting my bow. At 30 yards my broad heads were almost 3 inches high. I didn't think there would be such a difference. I don't think my sight moved either. Anybody have any answers? I did feel like my form sucked shooting up there. So, maybe just me?

I'm staying a couple miles from Red Lake for my elk hunt and my area has a big dog town in it. Any good sprays for fleas?

Just found a nice little blind I bought about 8 years ago. Anybody shoot their elk from a blind before? Seems like it would be super hot to sit in it for any long amount of time.

Saw some at Costco a couple months ago. Not sure if they still have them. Price seemed pretty good too.

I've started listening to some Jay Scott podcasts about elk and tactics etc. But not sure what the elk do when it's raining and thundering? Do they stop bugling or doesn't it faze them?

My shameless plug for Ross Outdoors. I just had a new string put on my bow by Ross. My rest broke while I was there shooting it. I told them to put a new rest on and they told me that Ripcords have a lifetime warranty and they ordered me a new one. They could of just put one on and got their 120$. But they didn't. Also, when I went back in to pick my bow up, Nate had me shoot it and even gave me tips on shooting. Great service brings people back. End of shameless plug. A family 2 streets over from us in Tempe when we were growing up got washed away in Tonto Creek north of Kohl's Ranch back in Sept. of 1970. They were evacuating and a wall of water hit the bridge they were driving across. Only 2 girls survived. 7 lives were lost. My 81 year old Mom told me this story. I found a news article from the newspaper about this incident.

You can shoot over half your AZ Big 10 from that spot. Nice pics!
